Should get a respec.
I have played this game for a long time (45 mil sp) and I still cant understand with all the changes that have been made why we do t get respec's. For example I skilled into ar cause it was the only choice for a battle rifle when I started then came my trusty CR and I no longer had use for AR. Waste of sp I could have in something else.
I dont care that it would allow people to change to the new fotm fit. All of the racial suit and weapon varients should have came out after closed beta its not our fault you guys didnt have your s##t together. |

Just wait and see what Delta brings. If you read all the stuff on GD you would have a slight suspicion there might be one in Delta or the one after (if there is one after). It's not confirmed, but a suspicion. |

As for myself, while I havnt bought aurum in a very long time, I bought a shitload of merc packs back in the beta days.

We got fked over between beta and refunds.. We got refunded the aur but not the boosters. Which we should have, that's why we bought the merc packs..

I haven't bought anything since, and I still have enough dropsuit fittings to last me until Legion. No joke.

Given Delta will focus on sidearms (and I expect the SMG will get a nerf), I'm starting to save SP for another sidearm. Then, once Delta drops, I'll make a few alts and try out the post-update sidearms, then invest my main's SP on the one I choose.
It's only prudent given CCPs very clear statement that we should not expect respecs.

My tip: Look at your playstyle and role and then look what weapons and gear are SUPPOSED to fulfill that role and match your playstyle.
I specced into Gal Assault before the repairer, ferroscale, reactives and assault buffs, and it now paid off, as I got my highly regenerative and highly damaging aggressive assauilt.
I also expect my investment into the Ion Pistol to have the same result.
While I would like to say that this is a similar situation with the Duvolle, I specced into it back in Uprising 1.0 when it was the best rifle, so it doesn't really count.

I spent quite a bit of money on this game. Several, several, several merc packs, Elite pack, tanking pack, av pack, etc.
I'm not complaining, it made me a lot of ISK. Instead of asking for a respec, spend the SP accordingly and always keep a "don't touch" amount. I like to have a mill SP in reserve for new changes. I can't guarantee I will have it, but it's nice to have. Just be smarter with how you spend you SP. The problem truely is when people go with the FOTM after a respec. They skill into the FOTM and then ***** about it when it gets nerfed in the next patch due to being a pain in the ass. Screw the respecs, this is a competitive/strategic game. If you want the advantage, keep the reserve.

If you are sitting on 45mil SP then you would of seen the same amount of respecs as me: Uprising 1.0 Full Respec, 1.8 Infantry Respec, 1.7 Vehicle Respec.
Now the Vehicle respec wouldn't really apply to the situation we are talking about, however the 1.8 respec was AFTER the Combat Rifle and Rail Rifle were introduced.
So you sir really don't know how to spend your SP wisely if you found yourself skilling into AR again after 1.8.

Rumors of a player market made me spend money on dust, I have two covenants packs with sniper rifle and cars an assault suit bpo , 7 scout and smg bpos, 4 AR bpos and two DF assault suit bpo and bout 4 car bpos so all I want is to sell for isk . Respect s don't matter just making a billion isk, plus I have 200 quafe assault suits an I have no skills to even use email.

Terrible idea, and ill backup as to why.
1. Everyone is going to have a different definition of "considerable".
2. Turns free-2-play into pay-2-win
3. No one should ever get another re-spec.
4. We've already had re-specs, you should have chosen wisely then. (for a 45mill SP char, you had them too)

I literally have 43 mil sp and have dropped 300$ into this game and cant think of one thung I could switch that would change the game for me at all.
They need omega isk boosters is what they need.
You cant find a weapon in DESTINY that looks cooler than the viziam or a suit that look better than the basic gal proto.

OP has a valid point, guys. It's not like "trial and error" because he probably took all the skills to 5, god forbid he did fitting optimization... would've been well over 4 mil that's now a waste of SP
it's more like CCP is using trial and error as an excuse for us to pour liquid gold down the drain

Logically speaking, why would they give us.a respec in Charlie after they changed heavies, scouts and assaults when I'm Delta their gonna change the last two specializations logistics and commando on delta? If they gave a respecc in Charlie they would have to in delta for the same reason. Easier to just give one respecc once all the suits have received changes.
If Preparation is half of the battle and knowing is the other half, Then there is no need to fight.
