If Preparation is half of the battle and knowing is the other half, Then there is no need to fight.

i think technically its due to the LAVs lookign rectangular but have invisable sphere of influance for its movment/physics.. maybe when you get out at speed your getting clipped by the sphere and due to it still being in motion but unpiloted it kills you.. (like how people troll-kill with jeeps in spawn in bf3/4)

Due to the frame of the collision box, the back of the car is likely running over you (as the driver, you always exit the vehicle from the left side. This includes dropships and tanks). I believe the remedy is sharply turning to the left as you plan to exit at high speeds.
