This I agree with. The SP cap was suppose to be temporary but ended up being a permanent option since CCP did not bother to ask players after the Uprising 1.5 update. People couldn't make up their minds at the time. coming from a person sitting on 42 million SP we need something to keep the NPE retention rate high. It would need to start with the SP cap being fixed. Also keep in mind not everyone can play everyday out the week so they literally are screwed over when a new SP week starts, they will miss out on the SP they did not claim last week and have no way of claiming it. The key difference between vets and new players Like breakin stuff said is the SP spent in dropsuit upgrades as well as the vets having masted multiple individual fits. That is it. Otherwise give a new player some time to reach at least 5 million in skill points to max out armor and shields with maximizing space capacity next. Basically, it's a way to increase revenue and improve gameplay mechanics. Anyone on your marketing staff who doesn't see this should be slapped with a trout.
The only backlash is people playing this game non stop if the SP Cap was completely removed thus increasing the gap between new and vet players alike. What are your thoughts? that 1wp=1sp seems kind of painful as it would mean a good deal of people getting less then 1000 SP a match and people would stop playing soon as their weekly cap was hit, full stop..

That's what it is now once you hit cap 1WP=1SP up to a max of 1k, no? Raising the post-cap per map cap from 1K to how many ever WPs you get would definitely be progress in extending the cap, without "forcing" people to play more to cap out. well its touch n go, waht i ment was.. keep a 1k minimum per match but if you get more then 1000WP you gain the extra sp you currently wouldnt get.. ie.. 2500 WP would give 2500 SP or if you get like 200+ WP (to filter out bots) you get bumped up to 1k if your below the1k mark

gallente and amarr woudl get armor..
now it would give shiedl tankers a little better standing vs armor so they wouldnt be as sucky vs armor.. and armor tankers with the extra armor hp may drop 1 or 2 plates in favour of kinkats and cardiac for more speed to compensate for the higher/slower armor tanks
