It's pretty good for damage over time. And only noobs fail with it. But I agree it's DPS is way too low. I want a damage buff (enough to make it good, but not OP).

Case for the defence your honour. The bolt pistol is amaaazing. It's just that it is very specialized in the way you use it. It's a long range sidearm, but it hits so hard, if you get skilled with it, you will do very well.
It really suits a particular playstyle. You have to use the bolt when your switching to a flanking playstyle, that's really the key. Stay at range and pick people off. Do you want to know more?

It's really good on my Speed Tanked Matari Sentinel.
I use it all the time to force enemies behind cover while closing in the distance. Though if you're fighting a Scout you'll want to use an SMG instead.

Yes. I like it. It's like the breach ScP, except you don't have to learn the RoF cap because it's auto.
I'm disappointed that it has less range than the Magsec, but whatever.
Also, I don't know if you know this, but: don't charge the Ion Pistol. Seriously. Just don't. |

I use it on my caldari hmg heavies. It's a good hand held sniper essentially but it suffers from the same problem that the SR suffers from in that you won't be killing brick tanks with it. I do love to kill cloaked scouts with it though. |

I've killed a ncie amount of cloaked scouts with it. Though it's annoying if you don't see the HP bar becuase you don't know if they're brick tanked or whatever.

It depends on your playstyle but I can get 20+ games with knives an a bolt pistol but I'm good with it and it fits my style but it is buggy and doesn't always register

Pretty nice sidearm, the large kick actually accounts for nothing because the weapon resets to its original position before the next shot fires, so aiming is extremely easy if you can get used to the fire rate
Not exactly a decent backup weapon, the smg and car-9 have that title

The kick doesnt do anything as it returns to original spot while ads only fire does it actually jump
