James Bond style:
Caldari assault C/1 Series or similar. If not just try a suit with similar weapons and a cloak, but not a freaking heavy or someone with 300/400 shield armour.
2 Bolt pistols (I use SR-29 Bolt Pistol for main, and Bolt Pistol for sidearm)
1 CPU Upgrade
1 PG Upgrade
1 Cloak Field
1 Militia Precision Enhancer
1 shield Extender (the extender that is placed on the weapons side of suit, I cant remember :p)
This is my normal drop suit, and I enjoy using it, cloaking up....flanking the enemy. I skilled into the minmitar logistics suit, only need 200,000 SP to skill level 3 and unlock it. 1 extra nanohive and a better cloak XD
Tell me your results, when I started using it I tried to run-and-gun but you lose every time to any weapon in a head on fight with the bolt pistol. Flank assault suits, sneak up on snipers, shoot heavies from a distance.
My best is 19/4 with this suit. lol noob |

My current challenge build is,
cal scout
Sniper rifle
Bolt pistol
Kincat
Dampener
Damage mod
Two shield extenders
Compact nano hive
I'm always going into the thick of it and fighting along side my squad. Sometimes I'll set up on a hill to provide some cover fire or disrupt the enemies movements but I don't stay for very long. I never snipe from the redline (unless team sucks and can't get out) and always try to be close or as near to the battle as possible.
Its so much fun!

I have a fit I'd like to share... It's very basic but requires some skills upgraded
Militia Minmatar Light frame
2 Militia Shield extenders
2 Militia Kinetic Catalyzers
Shotgun (you can use the Militia Shotgun aswell for even more "cheapness")
Flaylock pistol
You're very fast, can destroy uplinks and hives with ease and are very cheap at about 4k ISK.
Have fun, I certainly did.  32/11
Shotgunner for life.
EDIT: Scratch that, I love my lasers.
