An example would be KInetic Catalyzation. I have not yet unlocked the prequisite skill. How can one calculate the amount of skillpoints needed to level up the skill to level 5 without skilling into it? |

The Kinetic Catelyzation Skill itself would cost 930K SP. |

The skills show the multiplier.
Its a X3 multiplier skill.
Press triangle and check the attributes, R2 once after triangle on the skill.
Press triangle on everything.
"Oh, look!,
There's, uh, two women f ing a polar bear".
"Don't tell me those things".

If you to the actual skill tree, there is a slider that will show you how many points are needed for any level without having to commit.
Go to the skill tree, buy the skill book and you can see how many points in total it requires.
