We should be able to interact more if we want to. I understand some eve players, or a lot of eve players, don't want to interact with dust, but for those that do let our battles effect eve and vice versa. Would love to be requisitioned for battles on the ground by actual eve players, fight for mining control, control ground stations to help with orbital air space control, etc. Would like to have our battles mean more. Anyone in the eve universe agree or disagree?

I'm hailing from Eve side and I agree. However, you and I both have to face a certain reality. CCP Games now only has a few Devs working on Dust while the rest of the team is focused on Project Legion. That means that Dust has been permanently relegated to receiving just hotfixes like we do now. There will be no more major updates like we use to see because all the resources needed to produce those updates are now devoted to Legion.
But as CCP Rouge said, your data in Dust will be transferred to Legion once Legion has gotten the greenlight and it finally gets into beta. The problem here is that we don't know when that will happen. Even CCP doesn't know.

I really like where you are coming from but I have to agree a bit with, Maken.
I'm a long time EVE guy and I definitely want a deep and meaningful interaction between Dust / Legion, EVE, and hopefully even Valkyrie down the line. I do think that there might be some small things on the edges they can do to help strengthen the links to Faction Warfare in Dust and I'm a big proponent of that.
I do strongly recommend voicing your opinion directly to the CPM about wanting a serious linkage between Legion and EVE as they develop the game. There are indications that the Dev team has seriously lowered the priority of building in that link and it's major point of concern for the CPM.
Again...huge support of shared impact on the New Eden universe.

Personally would rather play legion on ps4, but I can see that won't be happening. However, if I have to play on cpu I want to have that level of interaction. Like how the ground troops were attacking the space ship on the Legion video. I want to rush from corridor to hanger attacking enemy troops, or defending ships depending on the payout to my corp. I want to load up an offensive on a planet supported by our eve counterparts. Would love to see 24 vs 24 or 32 vs 32 on the ground in large regions fighting for control. Does it look like that will be in legion?

At this point I don't care anymore. I could care less if I see Legion players affect EVE or not.
EVE itself is a much better game anyway.

I think both would be better with tons more to do if they were more interactive. Dust itself definitely needs more to do in-game than pvp in three basic modes.

I don't disagree that EVE is a much better game...i still buy into the idea that it would be even better with a Legion partnership.

Let's all be clear here. As per the PC Gamer Article featuring CCP Rouge in an interview, Project Legion will likely not come with complete interaction between the two games... at first. They did say that they will eventually implement that interaction by merging the two economies of Eve Online and Legion but that will be a long time because Legion first needs to prove that it's able to stand on its own two feet.
Of course some of us have certain reservations about that decision that CCP is taking for Legion. Some (if not many) of us want Legion to have this level of interaction on day one. Others are ok to wait for it because of the understanding of how complex such a merger would be with an already-existing behemoth like Eve Online.
