Hello
I would like to ask you one question right now, "how do you think the CPM1 is doing?"
The reason i ask is i want to use some quotes in a video im currently doing talking about the CPM and im sure you can guess its gonna be a bit 'flamey'
As a being of a true 'Chaotic Neutral' stance, i am curious to know what people think of them so far - feel free to name and shame (links as well would be great) as i want to build up a bit of a list of what the community thinks.
Dont worry, this isnt a witch hunt (yet) and i will credit anyone whose post we use.

It's too soon to be asking this question lol, but some of the new CPM have experience with this game, not like the older CPM's, which to be honest, were bad at this game.
We have people on the CPM now that specialize in different things, ex: Judge does dropships, Zatara has gun game, and IWS is a jack of all trades, which he is pretty bad at.
But back to my first sentence, it's too soon to be asking this question.
Also the new CPM are already being brats on the forums sucking CCP's uknowwat already. |

Also, IWS is due to explain to the community why the game is still in progress, and waiting a little bit more, and buying more Aurum will smooth out the development process.

Well we haven't really had much to go on so far.Having said that though, Soraya's (And I hope they don't mind me saying, it's not meant to be slanderous) attitude has made me nervous. I like Cross though, he's been communicating with us well. I don't have much opinion of the others yet.
As I said, it's early and there's not much to go by.

Awful, Zatara is abusint his powers to achieve unreal levels of negative KD, we should've saw this coming when he shamelessly abused the Fed Duvolle.
Judge has taken his YouTube cult to farm ISK and is using insider knowledge to predict fluctuations in the market.
Soraya is tied in with the Goons and is searching old pirate ships in search of ancient treasure while failing to do his job.
IWS is doing something.
Kevall is using his army of newbs and insider knowledge to try get 100% in PC.

Considering Hotfix Charlie was basically already a done deal before CPM1 even took office, its basically impossible to judge their performance thus far. But naturally people will complain that they don't like "X" and blame it on the CPM1 anyways. |

Cross Atu has probably been the most "proper" CPM so far. This post is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for in my CPM candidates. He's polling the community as to collect general feedback in order to have a strong base to stand on when talking directly with CCP
IWS was pretty active on the forums for a while there and then kinda disappeared again. I've seen a few others like Judge and Kevall definitely focusing their efforts to relay feedback to CCP, but who knows what's actually happeneing.
I personally talk to Cross Atu all the time. While I respect his NDA, I do value the fact that pretty much any of my ideas can now be relayed directly through him to CCP seeing as how we both think in the exact same way about all things Dust.

I'm worried about Kevall. not as a member of the CPM but as a leader of D-UNI, he apparently did not know that the Sniper Rifle does not use Aim Assist. I fear he may believe that the Mass Driver and Forge Gun are also helped by Aim Assist. Basically, he should seriously be ashamed for not knowing how the mechanics of the game work.
Soraya is doing a class act on understanding how to socialize. It's only slightly better that when IWS's attempts cross-species communications with humans
SirManBoy- first CPM1 member to say "OMG, guys, look at me! I got elected! Like my ideas because I'm on the CPM!"
Cross- doing as expected.
Zatara- still think he's an idiot that's going to be easily manipulated.
Rhada- much better than expected.

Well, I opened a thread inviting CPMs to answer some of my questions. Judge and Kevall stopped by and from what I've read, it seems to be heading in a good direction.
I believe the only way we can come to an informed answer is to judge 6 months down the line. Right now, I'm just glad to hear that the guys has been talking with each other outside of the forums. Only time will tell. |

I agree this is premature. They're still getting oriented and going through the administrative BS of signing NDAs, gaining access and such. I think giving them a month or two is reasonable before we can start forming conclusions about their performance.
I can say they seem a lot more accessible than their predecessors. Many have posted public email addresses, and they set up a blog; let's hope they keep it active. I've contacted Soraya, Kevall and they both took time to reply, which was excellent and greatly appreciated. I wrote Judge but haven't heard back. He's likely overwhelmed with communication and administrative stuff, and he mentioned he's being very cautious about the NDA right now, so I'm not at all upset. I have a lot of respect for him and his methodical approach to problem solving.
Best PvE idea ever!

I drove across the country to Lake Powell, saw a bunch of family, went white water rafting and ziplining in WVA, went skydiving on my birthday...I've been pretty damn busy.
I still managed to go hardcore at the event and was top 100 for all of July in terms of WP's and Kills.
I'm still just as hardcore, but vacation is vacation. :^)

I don't think anyone would complain with place holders....... it's not like we'd be getting the actual models so there is nothing really to gripe about.
I do however appreciate the response, gives me a perhaps a reason to log back in if these things do get altered.
In terms of the Amarr HAV...... even if the main hull cannot be implemented.....and Khanid Missile one could....especially in terms of the enforcers. (secretly wants an armour HAV with bonuses to missiles).

I wouldn't be. And honestly I don't see why it's acceptable from CCP's standpoint. It's either Amarr or it isn't. The primary thing making an Amarr HAV awesome would be the shiny hull and the massive laser cannon attached to it. Take that away and all you have is an embarrassing placeholder that isn't fooling anyone.
If Legion is supposed to be a thing then they are supposed to be making HAV's for it. I don't see any real reason why those assets cannot be imported over and scaled down like everything else was. Rattati already said a -real- patch isn't out of the question, its just not something thats going to happen tomorrow. |

Please push hard for them to finish the models. They need them for legion and so they should be downscaled for DUST and patched in when ready. I'm fine with waiting. We can balance them in DUST so they're ready to go for the Legion launch. I'd be willing to buy some AUR promo thing that would carry over to Legion if that would help cover the cost of development/patch review expenses.

Fleshed out variants. Breach ScR, Burst ScR, Breach Combat Rifle, Tactical RR, Burst RR, Tactical Combat Rifle (Am I missing any?)
Racial HMG's and Heavy AV.
I could go on, but you get the picture. We need the rest of the races items on the table. Balance among weapons and suits is pretty decent right now. Sidearms are getting another pass. It's time to build again.

I don't think racial shotguns will ever happen for the simple reason that the shotgun isn't favored by every faction. You will see other close range weaponry that is similar in function, but not the same. Having 4 shotguns would be largely pointless.
Think of it like the relationship between the sniper rifle and the laser rifle. That's what you're going to see. |

Well, as far as their actual effect on gameplay, it is way too soon to tell.
BUT if you are just talking about their forum presence, they seem determined to make themselves look like idiots. They ignore all constructive posts, and post in troll threads, trying to make the excuse that they are just there for the laughs. Fleshed out variants. Breach ScR, Burst ScR, Breach Combat Rifle, Tactical RR, Burst RR, Tactical Combat Rifle (Am I missing any?) Racial HMG's and Heavy AV. I could go on, but you get the picture. We need the rest of the races items on the table. Balance among weapons and suits is pretty decent right now. Sidearms are getting another pass. It's time to build again.
The minmatar tank should just have a gigantic pair of nova knives attached to the hull

To be clear, this is a review of their attitudes and behaviors at this stage only. Their ability to change the game is basically zero in reality, this is a discussion on their white paper duties to represent the community.
So far i have had a lot of people telling me that some are acting all drunk with power when dealing with people, i will do all i can to name and shame anyone who thinks this is a rerun of CPM0 and lording it over the community, they serve at our pleasure, not the other way round.

Its honestly too soon to say. CPM1is still getting up to speed with their new jobs and being breifed by CCP. We probably won't see many of them post for a while because I'm sure they want to find out everything they can talk about and what is behind NDA. Wouldn't want to accidentally let slip important info that CCP wanted to keep hush hush. There is also a lot of back and forth and questions I'm sure a lot of them are asking.
After they settle in I hope to see more CPM engaging hot topics on the forums to try and get as much useful player feedback as they can that they can then give to CCP and sternly push for. Ultimately the CPM is here to voice our concerns and ideas to CCP, they don't have final say as to what goes in or what is scrapped unlike many on these forums believe sadly....
