its my understanding the slot layout has been fixed and they have more health along with more cpu and pg?
sounds good.
1. do they play any better now?
2. what are the new bonuses or are the bonuses still garbage like they were before?
please tell me the grenade thing was a joke? that was always the worst possible bonus to give and then i saw it in patch notes after its been universally scoffed at in literally one billion threads yet they chose to add a grenade buff lol.
Even saw versatility mentioned in the devblog describing assault suits and had to simultaneously cringe while face-palming. not even gonna get started on how stupid that is but whatever, i guess theyre gonna stick to that nonsense and there's nothing i can do about no matter how blatantly wrong it is. oh well. 
Its been months since I played anyway so just curious whats going on.
Have the patches improved things?

Bonuses are the same.
Damage mods made a return.
That's the only thing you didn't know. More slots and fitting capabilities. That's about it. Shock Assault has 3 sidearms and 2 equipments (not sure if they fixed it yet). |

No. It's an aurum item that they screwed up in. It has been here for a while, actually, but somehow, someway, CCP managed to screw it up (or fix it haha) by giving that pre-fitted aurum suit am extra weapon, equipment, and I think a low.
It's in the Tactical Pack. That's how I got mine (when they were free). |

3 sidearm slots and I still can not do akimbo.

so like an entire bonus dedicated to 1 pg or something? thats a waste.
when i played i rarely even used grenades on my assault.

the extra slots make it possible to have great regen and high HP now so you can attack the enemy without much delay. and being able to fit core grenades on your suit is a good thing if you are a nade master cooker.

It's useful for like fits that I could have used but I was like 1 PG too much lol
