I think it's great that LP was buffed and all but...
Zero tax. And everyone's going to be doing it to get their proto instead of with ISK.
Should there be a tax on FW?

there sort of is a tax.. no isk payout+isk costs beign roughly inline with adv gear for the FW proto.. typical logi suit at L4 ADV gear is like 60k isk a suit maybe 65k.. and depending on how many times you die that can multiply costs exponentially, so isk buffers will shrink and then they will go back to farming Ambush in militia suits for a day and get a dozen million for FW again.
Tbh its what i plan to do to get my Winmatar proto suits since they are soo cheap vs non FW proto suit

they should just convert a percentage of your LP into ISK for the corp wallet or something.
no need to tax ISK when there is no ISK to be taxed in FW

You don't put the LP modules on it. Or anything but the gun and dropsuit.
Wait. You're talking about using a specialist LR AND ScR? If I were you, I'd just go for the higher PG/CPU ones that cost 100 LP.
Then again, no... I wouldn't run two light laser weapons on that suit. I'd throw a different light weapon on and just put LR on one suit, ScR on the other suit.

You can't tax someones measurement of Trust towards an individual.
You can however have corp standing with the factions like Nocturnal said.
But that would require a consistent Faction Warfare basis which DUST doesn't have.
Maybe in Legion.

No but CCP could let FW give a small amount of ISK to the corp you're in based on WP.
Let's say... 10 ISK per war point.

Good luck with your meager 10% damage bonus when my Amarr sentinel still resists another 10% and will soak up your first two damage mods.
****, I'd probably use an ARR instead of a second laser on the Amarr Commando.

I think what should happen (of course for Legion) is have a corporation salvage operations manager and a corporation storehouse. The salvage you gain from PC and FW go to your corp and the manager of this salvage is able to either sell these goods en mass or feed them into pre-made infantry and vehicle fitting assignments which can be distributed to corp members.
Want ISK? I'm giving it away!

Not to mention how Cal Sentinel gets a 15% shield resist to lasers and I think Minmatar's is 10% to armor but don't quote me on that one. But yeah you're probably right that the ScR will tear holes through anything in this game.

I think there SHOULD be some kind of intricate tax (or similar offset) to the LP glory of these matches. New Eden is so much about one-part-helping-while-costing-you-somethin-else. It's an annoying concept, but I've learned to enjoy it in anything connected with EVE gaming.
I DO NOT think it should be something OBVIOUS that it scares players from migrating TO Faction matches! Make it something subtle whose effect is like some drugs we use in real life: you ignore the effect for a long time, until you look at your condition after a month, and jump out of your skin because of the detrimental thing you've done to yourself.  "That can't be right! Is this what I owe?!!)
Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne...
