I have a thread in Feedback and Discussion which I'm trying to make larger, but is it too early? Should pushing for Delta ideas wait a while?

It really isn't too early, no. Obviously, we're already discussing Hotfix Delta. The challenge, of course, is that the issues with current balance isn't a good discussion point within the first few days of a release, because players need to adapt to the new meta and figure out what works better for them. They have to have time to adjust.
There's items though we're discussing for Delta that have nothing to do with Hotfix Charlie changes though, and hopefully I'd like to suggest some tweaks to things done in Charlie as well.

Are these being discussed internally with CCP, or is there a discussion I can join in? I don't have Skype but I really won't to talk with everyone and crank out some cool ideas :) Thanks for the quick reply by the way

Um... there's some really good open/public Skype chats if you feel inclined to get Skype. (Hans runs a really large one, Biomassed's own channel is a good discussion room too.) Otherwise, send us your feedback threads by email or some such (mine is in my signature) and I'll be sure to take a look. I used to lurk on IRC, but that was back when IRC was cool.

But I can bring people into the Biomassed channel. Almost all of the CPM1 members are in there.

IRC was terrible. sumone or sumdude or something like that and godin were why I stopped using it. " ***** bitch ***** " was all that they talked about, all the while being wrong about the underlining mechanics that were involved in their imaginary issues.
Skype's pretty crap too, you can't just go in and out of a room like you can in IRC. You need to be contacts with someone for them to invite you to a channel.
