Please fix the cal. heavy suits all other heavy suits can fit full proto gear on all slots with respected skills in electronics(cpu) and engineering(pg). Please increase the power grid to balance the caladari heavy suits. The basic sentinel suits all the way to proto sentinels are useless. So Im sure no one will use the caldari heavies anymore. Thank god I still have my amarr heavy which can stack 4 complex armor plates and a proto heavy damage mod, a proto hmg and side arm and nade. This being so. I cant use a proto cal. with 4 complex shields, proto hmg, complex shield regulator. NO SIDE ARM OR NADES. I am 1 pg over with that build. That's bull ****. There shouldnt be this issue for the cal heavy that is the most disadvantaged heavy again.
I feel bad for all those dedicated Cal. heavies.
For now Ill use my other heavies till ccp decides to grace a decent balance on the cal. heavy.

Edit: Nevermind I'm just reading your post wrong.
I think you need to downgrade a complex extender to enhanced...or you know, use a shield energizer or two to free up a ton of pg. That usually works for me.

im going to try that fitting out. But id rather see about adding all complex extenders on high slots. using a recharger would cut 18pg off the suit roughly. but having the option for being at a decent shield hp without having to use a pg mod. to fit an proto hmg. would be nice. 2 pg. is all it needs to be kicked up. |

I actually think the suit needs more cpu, but then I could use my low slot for something useful like a regulator

I don't have many problems fitting the pro suit, but as you step down to the lower tiers, they're REALLY tough to fit in a reasonable manner, especially the C-1, and even more so if you want to be as racially "true" as possible and use the Cal sidearms, which have ridiculous fitting requirements.
Reality is the original Rorschach.

Umm, the heavies were rebalanced so that, just like every other suit, they can't fit everything proto, max skills or not.

A quick look at protofits.com suggested this fit:
CK.0 sentinel
2 complex heavy damage mod
2 complex shield extenders
complex reactive plate
proto HMG
standard SMG
standard flux
Having to carry standard SMG and flux is pretty standard for heavies now. There are no other real compromises, everything else is proto. So not sure I'm really seeing the issue. |
