Crazy. I usually run at the tank to avoid it's cannon to buy myself a few precious seconds to plant remotes. Never once been road killed by a tank at idle speed. It was infuriatingly hilarious.

You got killed by TDS Tank Defense System. It activates only when you tap the tank anyghing more and it backfires.
