I've been trying... but I can't do it.
So far, I've killed:
-1 Madrugar
-2 Somas
-2 Onikumas
-3 Balochs
-1 Methana
-1 "red colored LAV" (forgot the name)
Mind you, these kills weren't accomplished with NKs solely. I just happened to get the finishing blows in with my knives. I've also died three times to asploding vehicles so there's that risk. My goal before this game ends is to knife a DS and make it go "boom!"
You knifers should give this challenge a shot if you have nothing else to do. |

Trust me, my corp mate has been saying for a month he's going to fly over dropships and jump on top of them with his Minja.
And it's called a Blood Raiders Saga.

That's an awesome idea. I've just been waiting on rooftops hoping a DS pilot would fly low enough for me to jump on so I could start slashing away. No luck so far, and thanks for the LAV name. |

I was soooooo damn close to sticking the landing on a dropship. Alas, I've only got footage of tank killing to show you today. The quest still continues!

I'll bet, that's why I started knifing -- it really is a rush.
I can see what you mean about not hitting the turret -- looks like the key is making sure that the reticle is red when you release the charge, to make sure you hit.

This is a dropship kill with Nova Knives...I think.
Not exactly the dropship kill I had imagined, or even a kill at all (I'm still slightly confused) but this technique of jumping into the ship might be one of the quickest way to kill one. It appears a single swipe of the nova knives brought the ship to flames. And again, for some reason, the blast did not kill me but instead teleport me outside the map. I am very curious why this happens.

Lol, not exactly what I had in mind. I was hoping for some epic drop onto a moving DS where you would then slash the hell out of it until it fell from the sky...
But you did manage to destroy a DS with knives, so I'll give ya that.
On another note, I completely soloed a moving rail maddy (lol why?) with knives a couple of matches ago. He took me on a ride across the map and in and out of his redline. I don't know if he knew I was hitting him, but damn was it fun surfing that thing without any interference. I died in the explosion... So that brings me up to 4 knife asplosion deaths. |

I can successfully surf an RDV at least once per session, I may have to get in on this.
Positioning, patience, and dumbass ADS pub pilots are on my side.
I don't always blap Infantry with a Forge Gun, but when I do, that ** is hilarious.

There was a crashed enemy dropship in a skirm. Got -75 points for the destruction of a gorgon. Must just be me or you other guys haven't destroyed a DS with knives yet.

Not sure if this counts, but I managed to rodeo a tank (soma) and knife him down to 1200 armour, before the pilot got out to try and kill me!
I swiftly knifed him stole his tank and suicided a madrugar with it.
Does that count?
