That's great, we've tested that with guys of the corp and it's was so fun I couldn't breath. However there is one major problem : when we kill the tank with our knives, we die because of the explosion. That makes the tank knife hunting pretty expensive if you want to be effective. Also when we climb on a tank, we often fall of it when it moves instead of moving with it like physical laws plan it. |

How about for the finishing blow you jump off the tank and throw a packed AV grenade? Nobody forces you to blow up with the tank.
They say when you die you see a white light which then forms the line of:
"GAME OVER! PLEASE INSERT COIN"

I put standard Nova Knives on a starter fit, found a tank that was being shot at, and killed it with a quick slash when it got down to about 100 health lol.
Shotgunner for life.
EDIT: Scratch that, I love my lasers.

Yes that's what I did after popping up the first tank (also took RE), but it's much funnier when the killing blow is a knife hit, personally I've decided to lose ISK while hunting  |

It was intended that the damage to anyone in proximity to an exploding vehicle would remain. If you want to put the finishing blow on a tank with a knife, you have to deal with it exploding in your face. So either use something else to finish it, or make sure you're tanked enough (for reference, vehicles do 500 flat damage when they explode)

Make it 2000 so heavies that jump out of tanks before they explode die as well. Yanno, since that's a thing.

Or just run cheap Min Scouts with ADV Knives and embrace death with open arms.
Worth the death for knifing a tank IMO

I don't see the problem with this.
It is totally worth it.
You can't put a price on the shame a tanker should feel from being knifed to death.

Actually, it's pretty dumb that the tank would blow up. Any self respecting minja would know how to surgically disable the tank with their knives.
Why the **** would a knowledgeable high skilled minja keep hitting the tank so it would blow up in their face when they could just trash it?

That's not how it worked out in my case. Ran into a pretty surreal bug here Logibro.
There's also a bug regards where damage applies and the points your get for stripping shields and armor.

Now before everyone complains about this knifing tanks thing... I'm gonna throw out a plan I might attempt if I see a few NK's out there on the field... Time to start strapping explosives to the tank : ) better hope you don't pop one before my tanks hp is down, because I'll bet it kills you before it kills me, lol. |

If I were you I wouldn't do that. Most scouts hunting tanks like using flux grenades, so your shield is gonna go down and the RE will blow up and destroy your tank. Or the first lucky noob that will shoot you with his AR will pop the RE and damage your tank, leaving you easy to kill for anybody around with AV stuff |
