I have been reading the patch notes for charlie and i noticed that the ads price drop is not part of it. Is it for real or did they forget to put it in there?
If they are not doing it I would like to know why they decided to make an ADS 3x the price of a tank? I men 300k isk is way to much for something that a militia ds can bump into and destroy without needing to do anything else.
A lot of people compare crashing a militia ds into an ads to jihad lavs but that is totally not the case, with a jihad lav you need time to set up r/e on your lav and then take the chance driving to the tank where you an get shot at and blown up before you even reach the tank, whle with a militia ds all you have to do is get into it and then crash into the ADS and boom you got to destroy a 300k+ isk ADS.
An ADS is the same skill level as a tank and yet its 3x the price, how does that make any sense?
If your not lowering the cost, can you at least make it so that they don't get destroyed by simply getting bumped by a militia ds, and if its an armored militia ds they will usually survive and fly away laughing at you |

Extremely disappointed that a sica has more tank, is cheaper, isn't septibal to op av like the python is.
I feel like the forge doesn't lose damage vs pythons for some reason...because no matter what you can always 3 shot them.

Okay so they are not giving anything to ADS of any kind but they are increasing the damage of swarm launchers, giving them more ammo. As of right now yes an ADS can be deadly but they are the easiest to counter.
With swarms doing more damage, even with the missile count lowered at higher tiers, is still the most deadly thing to an ADS.
With no ground cover and the fact that swarms have such an extremely fast lock on time, 2 proto swarms will destroy anything before they can react to it.
312 x 4 = 1248 damage per volley. now have 2 people doing that at the same time and that equals 2469 damage, that is enough to destroy any vehicle at any time.
I don't mind that, but the cost factor of an ADS does not balance out with how easy they are to destroy. Right now ADS is more of an isk sink then an asset.
Everyone cries that skill stacking in an ADS is messed up, its cheating, its wrong but if you consider the cost of an ADS, its no wonder people skill stack, just to make sure a half million isk vehicle survives. I truly expect to see a ton more skill stacking with an ADS after hotfix charlie with the swarm changes. |

Minimum hp build for the python so it's not as underpowered is 2555 shields, so swarms 3 shot pythons.

Proto swarms actually got a nerf. And they are actually incredibly underpowered. Swarms need a massive buff, IMHO.

That's hilarious. I've never seen two proto swarms even break a dropships shields. And currently, swarms are inferior in every way to forges.

Good. A single AV should be able to kill you. Two should kill you very fast. You should not be much harder to kill than any other player.

Most weapons in the game can't even damage an ADS. Meanwhile, an ADS can easily kill any infantry on the field, and does quite well at killing tanks too. That being said, the ADS price drop is not off the table. It just isn't in Hotfix Charlie.

I am not talking about about now, im talking about after hotfix charlie, the fact that 2 proto swarms can destroy my ADS in less then 5 seconds after it cost me close to 500k to fit my ADS is not cool. The isk cost of an ADS does not fit with how much they cost. You can buff swarms until they can 1 shot something and it would not phase me 1 but, but don't make it cost so much that it can bankrupt you. |

reduced AB speed or increase missile speed then you should talk about a ADS price nerf.
as a proto swarmer i can either push you away, or hope your completely ******** and stay around for 3 shots a reload and then a couple more, |

A fully fitted tank costs less then a base ADS, and tanks at least have some sort of ground cover, to put in between swarm missiles and themselves. All an ADS has is wide open air space. Even with after burners you can track an ADS and wait for them to come back down then have all swarms fire at the same time, so that's not really any kind of defence |

Though sometimes I see dropships get hit like say 4 times with a full cluster of missles and have 20% shields left. then fly off and not be the least be damaged when they return. hit and run tactics are a dropships best defence. that and sometimes I get those ace pilots that do drive bys. blows my mind the nuts it takes to do that. |

Um.. I dunno. I personally think they need a really big buff. The largest change here is that standard and advanced swarms should be getting better. But I think proto swarms still need a buff.
