I just went through the notes on the hmg range.... only the proto is getting reduced and the STD is getting a buff. it went from 5000/5250/5500 to 5250 across the board. also the heavies getting a 25% off of their fitting to heavy weapons is nice. might make them valid somewhat. at least at lower levels.
Also the scouts seem to be getting all buffed. well besides the Min. He gets nothing. Looking at this spreadsheet. the Amarr have the best passive scan. The caldari the best profile and range. The gallente have the tied for best profile and a low end scan upgrade. Seems like hidding from the Amarr might be an issue. |

Amarr - Short range strong scan, also beefy Caldari - Long range weak scan, also sneaky Gallente - Short range decent scan, also sneaky Minmatar - Short range weak scan, fast hacker, knife master, also speedy

Pretty much how I saw it too. So the Amarr might negate the stealth of the caldari and gallente though -5% bonus on scan. They only have a -3% profile bonus. not really sure how that all stacks up.
Edit: on a side note the Amarr are getting A LOT of buffs this hot fix. Their sentinel is the only with 4 low slots now and has 75armor on the gallente to begin with. Their assault/scrambler rifle combo is getting to be crazy strong, their scout scan is amazing. |

Yeah, after the "nerf," the boundless HMG is losing a total of 2.5 meters off their effective and the basic gains 2.5 for the in game reference point. Optimals remain the same. Really changes nothing when an overwhelming majority of the objectives in the game are tightly packed mostly closed in spaces.

The Amarr will be good at being the slow moving scan able to pick up other scouts easily, but will need to sacrifice tank to get that range Gallente are e-war specialists this time around, but again at the cost of range and will need to sacrifice tank to get that range Caldari will have range and the ability to hide, but will need to sacrifice tank to detect dampened scouts
Minmatar are the worst e-war suit, but have the versaility to do almost anything...just not as good as everyone else.

YA the only true nerf they got was the CPU/PG reduction and the heat increase to ALL hmgs. The burst being the hardest hit. Losing damage per hit, massively increased heat build up, but gaining massive boost to rounds per secound. it still waits to be seen if it will work out or need more tweeking.
Edit: ya but that hack bonus. with the right mods and the skill maxed they can cap things at insane speeds. most of the time before they can be stopped. |

All Gal and Cal scouts are already experts with their suits... They will only get more powerful... Just by switching one module in the fitting... All the Amarr and Min Scout users would still Ask for Cal/Gal nerf as usual.... and the poor blue berries, this is what they asked for... It'd be interesting to visit the forums after Hotfix charlie... All the geniuses that proposed the changes lol |

Their Assault and Sentinels were always great to begin with... I have both... Didn't need the change, but Oh well lol

The Caldari is getting a nerf The Amarr a slight buff The Minmatar is recieving buffs to code breaker fitting costs and the like.
Sentinels are recieving a fitting power nerf, which is offset by the heavy weapon fitting bonus.

Cal scout is not getting a nerf. It's getting a role change. Use the correct words people.
The flaylock was nerfed. The laser rifle from chromosome to uprising was nerfed. Notice the difference? Probably not know this community's problem solving skills....mad skills bro

Tac AR nerfed, remember? Aw.. sad times.
Anyway. Heavy dont get nerf. They will fit what they want. Overheat will be only little higher. Range same.
Cal scout. Will have no role if there will be amarr assault with triple dmg mod ScR :p.
Overwall. Assaults will be now a thread to scouts,heavys etc. Cant wait for info on delta.
