As much as CCP hurt me, and as much as I enjoyed/will enjoy Destiny, the Dust forums will always be heads and tails above the Destiny forums. Nothing over there but name calling children, the debates are no fun, and not really debates at all. It is like talking to a brick with the personality of a 3 year old ape with downs syndrome. I am getting no satisfaction :+(
I am hoping to get intelligently trolled here, to relive the good old days, if only for a fleeting moment.

I enjoyed the beta, and i'm gonna love the full game. I understand it's not for everyone. But on the Dust forums- I came for the maths, but I stay for the intelligence. Not a troll at all.
Now give into your hate!! Let it flow through you!! Seriously the Destiny forums is to my IQ as a flux is to shields.

The Art Direction in Destiny is its best point.

Fact (no need to check for accuracy): The age of the average Bungie fanboi is 11.89
Capping a Character is going to be ridiculously easy.
I'm no CCP loving zealot. I really wanted it to feel more like Destiny, and less like Disney.
I'm going to play, all the while hoping for a Legion port to PS4, bigger and better PvP in Destiny, or MAG2.
I want a real RPGMMOFPS.
I want WoW and Black to have a baby - on easy to access Consoles.

Yeah they are significantly better.
Sure I might make the Anti-Minmatar post here and there is nothing like the flaming each class gets as players try to establish the others as "mainstream" and therefore not FoTM and scrubby......and there game isnt even a playable product.

I doubt that. Unless they completely change the game before september it seems there is enough interest to keep it going. Now for it to live up to the 10 year lifespan Bungie will need to keep the content it adds interesting and functional, but in the short term i'd say it seems like it will do alright. |

I am sorry bungies Idea of adding content maps, maps and ooooooooooo more maps. I am sorry but just adding more maps and making your fans pay for nothing but maps is dumb. it doesn't enhance the game play. it doesn't make it more interesting for more then the time it takes to play a game or two on each. Because honestly they reused a lot of the maps they add in or just revamp them. Bungie has a horrible track record with me. The only thing they did that I liked was the horde mode they put in. it was new and interesting and changed how I looked at it. the multiplayer on most things bungie tends to be way too many try hard 10yr olds that swear at you in squeeky voices. it gets old fast. Halo 4 had misson mode and more weapons. but it didn't keep my interest long either. Most weapons just seem like slight changes to old ones once you get over the looks. meh might just be its not my style of game though. -le shrugs.-

I won't get into descriptions of what Destiny is and what it has been represented to be, but the content will not just be maps, it seems it will be more along the lines of the first Final Fantasy Online, with new areas (guess you could boil that down to maps) gear, additions to the story, ships ect ect. And as for the whole squeaker thing, just like in Dust you have full control over who you play with. But thats not why I made this thread. I am looking to be intelligently trolled (i'm not trying to fight back) since all I see inthe Destiny forums are links to memes and "feggit". Hyuk hyuk hyuk hyuk".
Also, some of the worst spelling I have ever witnessed anywhere ever. One dude insisted on using the word "psychologist" over multiple posts. Unfortunately for him he kept spelling it "phsiologist" over and over again. His retort was "thanks for fixing my spelling for free", with plenty of curse words and name calling mixed in. The stupidity is mind numbing. I did get a bit of a laugh the first 4 or 5 times though, as I was picturing Muscle Man from Regular Show typing the posts. But then the novelty wore off. Quick. |
