As most know,i run a basic CR to allow for Pro equipment and better defense modules.
And offense isn't really my objective,but being slaughtered by any suit that looks at me isn't either.
I would be happy to trade offense for defense honestly,i enjoy surviving to support.
But i don't desire to give up offense for weaker offense unless i could compensate with better defense.
My suggestion
-10% reduction to sidearms fitting per level
With this reduction i could switch to a sidearm and replace my lower defense modules for higher ones,shifting my paradigm from offense to defense.
But it would still enable me to have a modicum of self defense.
Logis could still run light weapons,but this would be incentive not to.
Was banned for fighting for logistics survival on 7/25/2014 02:11. Logistics will never be respected.

logi need more EHP too just a bit.. and to exchange Light+nade for Light+side or even light+side+nade to help defend against those new OP assaults, assaultscouts and Sentinels.

I don't know about the sidearm idea. Keep in mind if you're being shot at from range you want to make sure you fire back. With the changes coming to sidearms in Delta you might be gimping the logi with this ideam because you don't know what the changes will be. The logi is (too) slow already. If i don't have the speed to run away I damn sure want a light weapon to fight back. |

This would be purely optional.
It would say essentially 'you trade offense for defense'.
Without any sort of nerf.

Best thing to do would be to wait until HF Charlie drops and see how logi's fair with all the changes to heavy, scout and assault.
Wouldn't say I was averse to the idea, depends what the trade off is.
