Create a Basic Gallente scout suit and put a cloak and your chosen weapons on. Equip R9 Uplink.
Place uplinks in tactical positions.
Watch the WP roll in!

Just kidding, R9 Uplinks are the things that get me in the top 10 on my team in most matches, along with kills and additional stuff.

Wow, that's not good at all.
If you want to do things properly, get a STD Minlogi M-1, make several fits that utilize "ALL" uplinks, set preferred matches to Domination and Ambush (cuz flux Skirmish), and proceed to top leaderboards whilst gaining buttloads of WP.
You don't even have to fight. Deploy all your crap and then find a secluded place to rubberband your way into greatness! |

Well then, why not Amarr since it gets the bonus for Uplinks?

Why not Amarr? Because the darned thing doesn't have 3 equipment slots at STD level. If you want to keep things cheap and make sure that every game yields a great profit, Standard MinLogi is the way to go.

 You, Kam, have just identified the puzzle: Why DO players tell themselves they want a challenging game, but them just look for an arguable "loophole" within the game that will enable them to rack up points or beat the game WITHOUT facing the challenge?
I agree with you implication, an FPS is supposed to be for players who WANT to have to earn success by shooting stuff (not,... by AFK or farming).
Dust is a great game that really elaborates on that "support" play, where even if you aren't good at or don't choose shooting, you can build a career of HELPING your buddies as THEY shoot (I love that about Dust).
But uplinks are the CONTROVERSIAL "helper" device. Is the next uplink-boy helping, or getting confused with farming?
 I've pulled down my map in a match, and seen R9s thrown down in ways that seem to make sense, and turn a fight.
 ...I've pulled down my map in a match, and seen R9 all OVER the board like a chicken-pox outbreak (what the heck do you need an uplink over THERE for, in a Domination match?!)
Three well-placed R9s WHEN they are needed win a match and earn you kudos for being a MERCENARY.
Twelve "tactically-laid" R9s spread from Jersey to Ohio in the first 3 minutes of the match, kinda means you're just being a PRIVATEER---
---we can't benefit from all those uplink placments, you're confusing poor Newberrys,... and if we win the match at all, it will be because we wisely IGNORED most of your uplinks, and were able to find our way to the objective without them.
Logi roles, (and Logi-help even when you're not a dedicated Logibro) are VERY appreciated by us, and you deserve to get your WP for helping us. Just please be careful not to put your WP interests in front of our Match-winning interests while you're helping us. Yikes!!
