First fit is fine I should think though it does attempt to gloss over armour for shield........ with the way shield mods work now it just doesn't do the Amarr suits justice yet...... I have found shield tanked amarr ships to be very effective in terms of "Psycho DPS fits".....
In Dust however..... well it could work.....
Second fit is fine but I would sub out a plate for a repper to at least have some passive regen. Also drop the shield for a precision enhancer.....

You could do better with 3 Complex and 2x Reppers

I will have to field test this build once Charlie hits, but my bet is that one complex light damage mod with two side arms for highs.
Then various plates with reppers for lows to fulfill the resources depending on core skills and optimization allocation. Your going to want to crank out dps on sidearm once shields have been melted from the charge shot especially for heavies.

Ferros/normal = same speed, little better reps, pg intense.
Ill test them after charlie, but still,
5x reactives, or the one with kincat are better.

That depends on whether you are going Remote Reps or personal reps.

I think trade kincat to something else such as Ferros or Rep will be more useful. We are still slow even with kincat.

Imo, problem is, you're stacking up too many buffers for an Amarr. For the point defens assault, imo, it would be better to trade the nanohives for an active scanner, since you're using a Viziam Scrambler and trade two shield extenders for one complex damage amp and one enhanced dmg amp in order to take advantage of Scrambler rifle insane DPS.
Don't use the complex shield extender, anyway. If shield tanking is not your first choice (and it won't if you use an Amarr) enhanced shield extenders works wonderfully.
And, yes, I know the Amarr is slow, but that kin cat.....

don't use the kincat in the first.
I'd reccomend fitting with a reactive plate, instead.
also, use a damage mod instead of 3 extenders.

They are both pretty solid fits. Im sure my bretheren will tell you not to dual tank your suit.. ehem, jsut tell them you are caldari and cant resist XD
The good thing about Amarr suits is: They all have VERY good CPU & PG making them actually...pretty versatile.

I managed to fit 3x Damage mods, 3x Plates, 2x Rep (Pro and ADV) along with a PRO AScR and ScP along with some Core Locus.
Holy Crap.
That's like 1000 HP on a suit. With Damage mods.
Say goodbye to every shield suit ever. I think the AScR on that suit has like 700 DPS vs. Shields.

And 1kincat with 2 complex plates works good.
It have possitive speed (7,1 or smth) and hp.
4ferros = hp as 2 normal plates.
Pg is not a problem when you have around 100.
Imo. I think that fit with 5reactives is pretty solid.
Ps. Repping hives will work great. Logis will cary scanners.
