Bojo's School of the Trades
Hey all, I haven't done a BSotT article in a while so I decided to take some notes on one of my favorite weapons: The mass driver.
The following are notes on ranges associated with the tick mark crosshairs. Please take them with a grain of salt, accuracy is really hard to achieve.
@ 20 Meters use the first tick mark to aim.
@ 30 meters use the second tick mark to aim.
@ 50 meters use the third tick mark to aim
Estimated Projectile Speed: 32.5 m/s
These notes were taken on level ground.
So now when you are aiming at an unsuspecting target, glance over onto your minimap radar. Your radar has 3 rings. The inner most ring represents 20 meters. The middle ring is 65 meters. The outer ring is 100 meters. So if a target is at the first radar ring try using the first tick mark down on the crosshairs. You will have to use your head for the in-betweens.

Hardly find myself fighting on level ground unless i am on the bridge or on a city street.
If enemy isn't scanned then the minimap won't be any help in determining their location.
Just practice and give it some hours and you will undertand the arc in no time.

It is nice to see that school is back in session at BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades. This is a handy little bit of info. I enjoyed the mass driver when I used it back in Chrom. I will have to try it again sometime.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

Also, never ever aim down the sight with the MD. Pointless. +1 for pointing out fantastic support weapons aiming quirks.
