I did some messing around with them in protofits and I have to say you pretty much have to penny pinch them to fit everything you want. maxing every PG/CPU buff and cheapener you can get your hands on just to fit mostly proto stuff into the proto suit. you can't fit all proto everything into it. so its no OP like a lot of people say. If you don't have all PG/CPU skills maxed. you can't barely fit what you need into it. also the only equipment that fits with mostly proto stuff is the nanostick. that is the cheapest of the equipment cpu/pg wise. No hives, no spawns, no scanner tools, just the nano stick and repair tool. but only the cheapest repair tool CPU and PG wise. Unless of course you drop say your grenade and drop a few more things down to the advanced level then you can fit in some other equipment. though you would become squishy at that point. at least for a combat based class. |

Not being able to fit all proto/complex modules is perfectly normal and to be expected.
Well, unless you're a heavy. But they're getting tweaked for that.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

So they are not OP and are just being brought into line with the rest of the game? |

Being able to fit all proto modules isn't a measure of being OP on its own.
For example, maybe a suit can get thousands of HP points and amazing reps, even without fitting proto modules. That's OP on its own.

Well I think the most HP I managed to put on it barely made it touch 900 hp on the Amarr assault. They are the most HP heavy of the group so I am not really sure about that honestly. we will see when they come out and we can test these numbers out and see if they stack up right. |

Let me put some downsight on my HMG/CR/AR/SMG before I pass judgement.
I'm withholding enough SP to get my Gallentes fully specced, just in case.
