You would think that CCP would have given the infantry refund that should have been in 1.8.

The maps were literally made to thwart snipers. If you are complaining about snipers with such a massive handicap, I suggest you play a game with smaller maps. The point of the rifle is to be at a distance and force people who are ignorant to travel said distance to their death. Assault rifle when hunting a Sniper at range eh? It's basically like you are complaining that your scrambler pistol can't deal damage fast enough to kill a heavy using a HMG that's only 10 M away. Wrong gun for the wrong situation basically deserves your death. :/ Also note, there are vehicles invincible to small arms fire called LAV's that basically mean the death of a sniper. I'm for one, not because we really need it, just so I can truly ** off all the people bringing the role down even further than we already are. On topic though, Dust isn't pro redline sniper, it's just anti sniper period.....lack of spots on almost all maps, not adjustable zoom so the spot the you're in better match up with whatever rifle you're using or you won't be able to track a target, nope prone so there's less chance of successfully hiding yourself from a counter sniper, the crappiest hit detection I've ever seen in an fps (yes I know, effects are felt by all but none more than a charge sniper user), and the enemy can equipment spam themselves into invisibility because the *** icons never go away. Now, people want us to have the range of a rail rifle, even less ammo per clip, lower damage and a bunch of incredibly ****** things to basically kill the role off because they're too damn lazy to go hunt the damn sniper or just counter snipe them, when probably 90% of them can be taken out with a single headshot with a MLT sr....this includes mine. It is actually not THAT hard to take out a sniper unless they're all the way at the back end of the red, in which case, with rendering the way it is along with the reticule, you can just ignore em. what i think of when charging fg
