Currently assault suits have a scan radius of 10 meters. This is the same as heavies and less than logis (15 meters). Why? Shouldn't all medium frames have the same eWar or at least be somewhere in between heavy and light frames? Often I find myself surprised by heavies while in my assault suit because the range is so terribly low. This just feels off. Please consider matching the logi scan range of 15 m for the assault suits.

Honestly, all of the EWar stats should be looked at again and made much closer together with a slight bias for each role, and Scouts having the best base in all stats, but all suits being generally closer than they are now.
Pulling from my behind, here's what I imagine would generate a much more interesting EWar field:
Sentinels: should have the ability to detect enemies that are invading their area of dominance. Profile: 60 Precision: 45 Radius: 15
With that 'layout' they remain easy to spot but have a good balance of range and precision and have the ability to use EWar modules to aid their defence of an area, or just rely on average base stats.
Commandos: should be a middle ground between Sentinels and Assaults. Profile: 50 Precision: 50 Radius: 18
Better base stats than the Sentinel let's it hide if it chooses and can see farther away, but not as accurately.
Assaults: should have a good spread of EWar, but be less capable than most of the others in any one given field. Profile: 45 Precision: 45 Radius: 20
They can fit however they choose and fulfill a role decently but with less efficacy than a role that is specifically better at that niche.
Logistics: should have good range and be able to act as a decent radar looking for high profile targets as their squad moves. Profile: 50 Precision: 50 Radius: 25
Means undampened enemies will be detected far out, but would need to sacrifice to detect dampened targets. Would help guard against stealth tanks for one thing!
Scouts: joint best at each role. I'd probably advocate a slight EHP/slot reduction... Profile: 40 Precision: 45 Radius: 22-25(?)
Best at all aspects of EWar, which is where their other base stats come into play (lower EHP) so still the best suited, but not the only ones really capable of utilising EWar modules.
I'll repeat that the numbers are pulled out my ass, but I just wanted to show my thoughts.

decent idea, I would perhaps say that each race in each class needs to be slightly different to suit the needs of the suit, much like the scouts are reflecting now

That would be OP.

I'll repeat, you tool, that the numbers were just to demonstrate my thoughts on the subject. Sentinels should be able to perform some form of EWar, the specific numbers are obviously malleable.
Try focusing less on specifics like so many do.

Well I think that at least increasing assault scan radius to 15 is a good start. No doubt eWar in full needs to be addressed, especially if squad shared passive scanning stays.
