Is to just start them off with militia heavy suits instead of normal and run that with whatever gun they choose. They aren't gonna live long enough to run out of ammo anyway. This way they can live just long enough to turn around and see what killed them and maybe observe how the battlefield works for a few seconds before being blown away. They will know it's time to graduate from the suits when they start to run out of ammo on a regular basis. |

I don't think teaching newberries to play with scrubby tactics will make them less scrubby... Just annoying.
Tell them to get in a corp/squad like Pokey Dravon said. |

Really guys? Are we actually going to continue to spout that corps and squads are what decide matches? Let's be real, how many new berry squads roll a match when they are suddenly green? The real advice to give them is that they should of created their characters 1-2 years ago so that they would have SP. But sure, let's all pretend that never matters some more. |

Its so fun when that happens when I notice although random I have a few solo vets with me and there was a squad of molon labe I believe and whack it was weird although all solo everyone knew the score .......disclaimer ... this wont work against nyain, rainbow 1UP etc ... |

You pretty much defined it right there. It doesn't work too well against Nyain san, AE, and the lot of PC level players because they are **** bottle gamers. They are very well coordinated. It works on corps like molon labe, latinas killer corps, and fatal absolution, etc. because they are high sp corps, not to be confused with good. Difference between nyain san and molon labe is nyain san would give you a run for your money if they were running MLT alts, though they still aren't going to win if the group of randoms are fielding their best and have just as good of gun game and aren't brain dead tactics wise. I know this as I've been in those games ages past where Nyain san lost in spite of their lag coming from Asia against a good team that wasn't squaded up. Team work is something you need a certain level of but often has diminishing returns. The others just seem good like Molon Labe because they field proto gear against starter corps. Not to say Nyain San doesn't do the same of course, everyone generally fields the best that they can for their "smack my ***** up" youtube video.
This of course is in pubbies. Like most of the community I couldn't care less what's happening in molden heath. Farmville isn't a game I like to play. Hotfix or no hotfix that game mode was tainted long ago. |

Stay in the academy as long as you can and get every single SP you can and don't graduate , milk the SP's and ISK's until you can't no more and don't speck into anything , so when you graduate ... you will have a nice pool to use .
Use militia everything like what is suggested and just snipe and kill one person in a match , hell get some drop ships and learn how to fly so you will have something else to add when you graduate , you will be able to fly in tight spaces because , in the academy ... you don't have much room to operate , so you should be a nice pilot when you leave and go live stream .
Just listen and learn is the best thing you could do for yourself .
You would think that CCP would have given the infantry refund that should have been in 1.8.

K/D(r) matchmaking fixes the whole game. Period. It even fixes WP/D(r).

1st-find out what survivability means to you. Is it more hp so i last longer? More dps so enemies stop firing faster? Maybe not being seen so nobody fires at you. Answering this will help find your playstyle.
2nd-specialize. Get your core upgrades up then skill into what best suits your roll & don't stop till they are maxed. This will keep your points from being spread allacross the board not helping much. Focus on what you want & ignore the rest.
My best advise, take it or leave it.

Unfortunately scrubby tactics, although hated, are usually successful. Hence Jihad jeeping, redline sniping and ADS ramming. Scrubby to some but in the end it gets the job done. |

I would say quit trying to be the hero.
Nothing gets bluedots killed more than when they try to 1 v 1. Public Service Announcement : : Unless you are rockin a militia SCR or maybe even CR, you will lose. Follow a blob of dots, don't try to 1 v1, stick with the blob, attack with the blob. You can't rock solo mentality as an early player.
