I will give CCP the benefit of the doubt that perhaps they're not being active here on the forums because the devs are actually busy with the game and doesn't have time to give us an update other than a "soon". Besides, CCP recently laid off a lot of people so I doubt they have enough people to crawl and post on the forums for them on a daily basis.

You might have missed it, but CCP MC Peanut once posted a video on YouTube (it later got removed) showing ACTUAL progress being made on the HUD of the game featuring a 3D interface that turned out to be more optimized than that of traditional 2D interfaces. Then there was the post made by CCP Z about changes he supposedly made to the skill progression system after having a looooooooooooooooooooooooong conversation with us about it as we tore up his original idea that was brought up on Fanfest 2014. That is on the archive section of the forums for everyone to read.

Honestly, I feel like they have spoken with us enough so I want them to focus on working on the game rather than waste time posting threads like "it's coming soon."

I'm not asking for a super in-depth dev blog that needs approval from Hilmar himself, how hard can a weekend update be. I mean, every Monday, sit down and write up a recap of what was done last week and what the devt teams are currently focusing on. Leadership needs to trust the workers and trust that the person tasked with writing the weekly update is knowledgeable and competent to say enough but not say to much. Simple delegation. A weekly update is not asking too much. Everyone Monday or Friday seems to make sense, but if it is easier for you, any day will work really...
