Hey guys,
This is pretty much my first real post since the "fan-fest incident" and I'm wondering if anything has really changed since then. Have they officially said if stats will transfer, or any other "real" news?
Personally I was just surprised to see a new newsletter in my inbox, and am wondering how things are going. |

CCP Ratatti is in charge of Dust 514. He desires to hit all the low hanging and easy fruit first so server side changes are the order of the day BUT this doesn't mean a client patch can't happen.
So far hotfix alpha and bravo were certainly nice lots of changes I wont bother trying to list but in short rifles are more balanced than they ever been before. Heavies and Scouts had a pass; Scouts need continued passes; HAVs are now only for the dedicated skilled pilots and not the scrubiness that plagued them for so long. Passive PC isk nuked from high orbit.
Hotfix Charlie is around the corner you can see the dialogue behind it on the Features and Idea forums. CCP Ratatti is good about community feedback.
We recently had name an officer weapon event combined with new militia toys. New Officer weapons will be coming after the names are picked.
Our population overall has recovered since fanfest but the community speaking portion hasn't fully flocked back up yet. Lots of earlier players are however returning and despite destiney beta our numbers didn't take a hit (it actually gained a bit...)
CPM 1 has been elected by the players but they're not 'tagged' (seated) yet. The lamentations of my 're-election' has be strike of grief amongst my most 'favorite' fans.
CCP has no plans to shut down Dust 514 and will remain committed to it
Socially lot of the old 'guard' seems to be getting replaced by asian, russian, and south american populations but they don't hang out with us on the forums.
And so far there are NO plans to shut down Dust 514. Though I do know that this is highly dependent on the playing population so as long as people continue to play dust 514 will try to keep the lights on.
Legion from my view has been progressing its core smoothly; however its the design that still has major qualms about and needs to be examined under a fresh microscope. Publically some devs are showing off things they're proud to have gotten done the largest progress being PVE.
Bad news?
Oceania Battle Servers have been shut down. They will be having to play in the Asian Battle servers or US ones.

They've said that since "the day". They may have backed over Dust in the driveway and thrown it in a shallow grave, but they still want people to give them money for it.
There is good news, however. Just over a month till Destiny comes back. |

I couldn't say. Just read that post in a thread, so that is the extent of my knowledge on the matter.
