The tracking speed skill also gives me a huge edge in battle over unskilled tankers. So this already exists for tanks.
Well its a buff thats earned through SP. But I can see your argument.

Just change tanks back to 1.6, AV back to 1.6 (with a slight damage nerf to swarms and forge damage, so tanks can't get two hit...) |

I gotta admit I'd like to see HAV be slower and have more weight to them.... I'd like to see those higher EHP values and more unique module lay outs...... I'd like to see variation back.....I'd like to see risk return......

They don't have any insight. They are bipolar and right now they are not fond of vehicles. If the game limps on for another 6 months, it might swing back.
Real AV doesn't stop until all the tanks are dead.

The way the blasters and rail overheat is not a problem for me. IF any tank decides its safe to come out the RL against my tank he's dead.
Milta rail guns did out DPS PC but that was a bug and its fixed now.
These skills your talking about would bring back tank spamming and make experience irrelevant the only way in hell I would approve of this is if you had to have level 5 or higher vehicle optimization.
I have 21million SP in tanks and DS with a k/d of 4.71 and I only do blaster stomping when the community needs punished. So I pretty much know what im talking about.

To me tanks should not have barrel climb. This is a futuristic game right? We have tanks these days that can drive full speed and land every round dead on target with no issue at all and no adjustment from the gunner. |

Which is a poor way to try to balance anything. |

I don't really think a return to Enforcers would be OP to be quite honest with you.
Perhaps stats could looks something like
Vayu Shield 1200 Armour 3200 High Slots 2 Low Slots 4 Increased PG and CPU 20% Decrease to Mobility 10% Damage to Blasters/ Missiles, 15% Increase to Zoom
Less Manoeuvreable, less EHP, significantly higher ISK and SP threshold, but better damage, customisation, and efficiency in the hands of skilled tankers.
