I think that if RE disappear if you change your suit to another one which have not the same equipment can be a good solution, i'm talking of normal RE not of the proximity ones,they are good enough in my opinion.this way if someone manage to get a jihad car cant do it "free"

If you are outsmarted, you deserve to die.
If you are sill enough to think that once you have killed the tosser, those REs should disappear without your assistance, you are lazy and deserve to die.
Uplinks don't disappear after death. I don't think nano hives do either.
The removal of bleedout detonation and increase in activation time should be enough of a nerf.

OP is only disappointed for jihad jeeps and i can't blame him, there are other EZ and less drastic solutions to the problem, like disabling the possibility to stick RE to friendly vehicles.
AV is good enough right now, there is no point to make JLAV unless you're a scrub.

As a Heavy, I want to agree but I can't.
If you haven't fluxed an area that is prone to having REs or an area where an RE user was, then it's kinda your fault.
*And, NO to reducing the weak spot on HAVs, too. It's proportionately small and only on one side of the damn thing, not like a Headshot Bonus which is accessible from all sides.

Remote Explosives are the primary tool in the creation of JLAVs, and due to REs being an AV weapon, the JLAV is also an AV weapon by extension. it also meets the criteria required for being considered an "AV Weapon", which is:
- Primary point of existence is to counter Vehicles.
- Highly restricted use against Infantry, if any.
Though JLAVs will never replace Handheld AV Weaponry, as it requires an incompetent Pilot to succeed, and it doesn't allow for mid-long range combat (which is required in some instances) or Combat against DSs.

How bout you swap server.... ive only seen one jLav this month and ive also been in tanks alot recently. How bout you cry about rail guns and the lack of maps varity and the shotgun bug, PLC bug, nova knife bug, the rare but still there swarmie bug, the small rail and large rail bug where you shoot but its nit actually shooting and you have to stop shooting and start again, killer RVD's, taking out ADS, the impact damage for ds and other ds and buildings, my flaylock leaving people at 0/0 hp way too often and the fact that they wont respec the suits after hotfjx Charlie ( when hey ar e swapping ammar and gal sentinal slots around and people put sp into thise suits for the slot layout so what the heck ) so there go cry about somthing that will enhance my playing expirance.

my only problem with RE is scouts whoreing them and throwing them like grenades..
i can understand RE's on a hack point.. and for that i most usually throw a nade/flux on the point to "check" or i visually check and pop any RE i see.. sometimes i miss one but thats how the cookie crumbles.

I ve seen 10 in a match one time but i think that if my kdr is over 23 , and i am a blaster tanker, maybe i m not complaining, i just want to speak about a PRoBLEM, cause jlav didnt exist when i was a noob and i get killed times and times by tankers, so why now that i am a full skilled tanker , i cant have the same "advantage"?

Few weeks ago I saw 2 guys inside one lav. Can You imagine that real men friendship? Second guy wasn't on turret's place. He join his brother to experience same from first side. together.
They destroyed my buddy's madrugar but it was better fun than chasing reds on redline. |

You can't detonate RE's unless you have them equipped or manage to ram the tank at the right angle. That said, your solution stops someone from spending no isk to spending 1.5-5k isk depending on if they want to double up on dem REs. If you can ram a car into a tanker that just has to hit your REs once you could of probably planted REs on their weakness in the back. Even the basic REs three of them will insta gib any unsuspecting tanker if it's on their weakpoint.
The people that complain about Jihad Jeeps are the same people that complain about Sentinels with light weapons. Scrubby tactics are scrubby because they require your opponent to be scrubby as well. Jihad Jeeps are easy to kill if ANYONE shoots at them. Likewise if Sentinels with light weapons were actually that good, Commandos would be the FOTM not scouts and sentinels WITH HMGs.... |

I've seen someone do that stupid $h!t before and needless to say it was out of rage because I watched them get demolished by a HAV , so I'm guessing that they wanted to ramp up their game ... well this idiot loaded his tank up and rolled out to the same HAV waiting and when they took one shot at that tank it was over , the idiot blew themselves up by loading their HAV with RE's , so when the enemy blasted them it was all over .
It was a stupid move but I guess that's what rage gets you .
You would think that CCP would have given the infantry refund that should have been in 1.8.
