I bought the cloak field, but I can't use it since it has so much cpu and stuff. Any good dropsuits that I can use the cloak field with? Also what weapons are good when using the cloak field? I know the shotgun is good, but what else?

Use a scout and a combat rifle.
Edit: The scout suit reduces the CPU/pg that the cloak uses at a percentage per level, so you'll have to train a racial scout for the cost to go down.

it's a 15% per level reduction right now. can't guarantee that it won't get nerfed in the future though. |

I would run it on a basic scout with a MD or a PC with a sub or I prefer a Flaylock (but I got level 5 on everything on it)... It works pretty good
Edit: its only around 15K but u have to be good
A basic SG and adv NK on a basic works great with the cloak too

+1 This is the key. You really have to go "all in" on the scout suit for even the low level scout suits with cloaks to really shine. |

I'm sorry my Minmatar can't fit a Viziam or Plasma rifle on a regular basis.

If they nerf this, they might as well remove the cloak, as it would be useless on all suits, even the suits that it was intended to work best on.
They worked too hard on the cloak for it to be rendered useless.

If you go this route, be sure to stay away from scouts... they will see your signature even when cloaked unless you put enough dampeners on.
Favorite prey: medium or heavy suit using a cloak.
