Although the recent lack of communication regarding Legion is disappointing, you have to cut CCP some slack. It is summertime after all - people go on vacations. Even game developers, I suppose.

Exactly, even if they have done so, with the instability surrounding the community and development team, wouldn't this warrant a simple, "We are going on holiday. expect less discussion".?

When the Legion Forum was created they had been working for 4 or 5 months on Legion without talking, so they had lots to talk about.
Then they were trying to figure out how they wanted to setup some stuff and talked a lot with us about that.
Now they are probably trying to build some of the stuff they talked to us about so they will have new stuff to talk about.
Edit: Oh yeah, and vacations too. Always hard to get anything done in the Summer.

CCP seems to take a **** load of vacations. Where I work we are only closed around 6 business days out of the year. I'm not sure why but CCP takes like 2.5 months of closed business time a year.
This sums up 75% of forum posts.

According to some Brazilians that I know, Brazil is riddled with more holidays that anyone can count. Even more so than that of the US and Iceland. I personally experienced it here in the US because I use to work for a parts procurement company whose main headquarters is in Sao Paulo, Brazil and we would often get days off a lot for some reason.
So be glad CCP is not headquartered in Brazil. Otherwise things will definitely take forever to finish. XD

I would like to support CCP with Legion, but they are not really giving me any leverage or reason to do so.
I would like to see Legion on PS4,
Destiny is like a relaxing open-world game. Legion is like a hardcore more serious open-world game.

What does Rattati have to do with Legion?
I might have misunderstood but I thought the thread was primarily focused on lack of Dev comment on Legion specific items.

To be fair, European culture is a lot more vacation-friendly than American culture. In general they have a lot more time off of work than we do. Not saying its a good or bad thing for either side, but do understand that it's a different expectation over there.
And I dunno about you, but if my boss tells me I have paid vacation, I'm not gonna come into work when I could be at home relaxing and getting paid for it. |

tbh im in same mindset as you, i really really really want legion to do well but im not going to wast time and money on a duff shooter.
also i got to try the moon level in destiny and it was one of hell of step up from the noob area so that will becoming my primray shooter for the foreseeable future im in the process of trying to find uk peeps so i can do the raid content as well :D

lol I am from London (United Kingdom) We get a lot of holiday time of, depending on the company of course, but for me I get 5 weeks of not including bank holidays or festivals such as Xmas. Others get maybe one week less and other one or two more unless you are a teacher then you get 2-3 months of lol When and if CCP do give out more information we will know about, but you got to give them time to do something first. I do hope they listen to what people want though, and change it up rather then make another dust but polished. |

I think I've given up counting how many times I've heard "potential" within Dust 514th lifetime. Seems to be working rather well, considering the massive success on PS3 and it's 80 million systems out there

Southern Europe is more relaxed about holidays. The UK in particular is the hardest working. I just pulled that out my ass but it is actually true. There is a massive culture split between Northern and Southern Europe however and the UK have I think the longest working week, we opted out of most of the EU regulations protecting workers so that we have work more.

I think the question should be raised for open communication for any game that is not in this stage of development. However, I do feel there should be a weekly "hello" from a community manager at a later stage of the game for one purpose "to build community". No offense to anyone but as far as the trolling goes lets not jump the shark here folks...we are better than that. Arrrrrrrr

I hear Legion has been abandoned and replaced with a shooter using the WIS engine that is already in EVE which was a testbed for the world of darkness game. Rumours say it will need more PSSHHH about it before it can be used but it will make the link between the games more seemless.
I am of course joking, but would like to hear anything from CCP. The community has come up with some banging ideas as i have no doubt CCP have too. But talk to us dudes whats going on in there?
Could we at least get a design discussion forum or something id hate to see this game sink before its swimming.
Anyone getting annoyed by reading of the above post should consider the following.
