Also, I don't think you came even close to understanding the Amarr, Caldari and Gallente combat mantras... at all.
The Amarr are not "cover to cover" fighters. Not even close. They bunker down, sit there, and blast the enemy with lasers while absorbing incoming fire, they are a wall. Its quite simple really, kill the enemy with brute force and damage absorption before they can kill you. Moving about is not their thing, and even when they do move, it is slow but steady.
The Caldari are not the low eHP guys. They don't have the eHP of the Amarr, but they are also the "bunker down" type. They are the more 'peeky' kind of cover fighters. The pop up, take and give fire, get down to regenerate, then pop back up again.
Gallente are brawlers. They aren't as tanky as the Amarr by a sizable margin. They are your "cover to cover" fighters. They rush and blast, relying on facemelting cqc dps to lay down death and destruction. Compared to Amarr armor, they regenerate faster, but can't take as much of a beating.
Minmatar are are hit and run. Run up. Ratatatat. Run away. Simple. They generally have the least eHP but with a balanced armor/shield ratio. They are the fastest. You seem to actually get them, I admit. |

Logis get: Same mid and high slot layout as assault Extra pg/cpu(not after charlie) More equipment slots Logistics bonuses(apples and oranges) Assaults get: Same mid slot and high slot layout as logistics Assault bonuses.(oranges and apples) Now tell me, which one seems better?
Assaults also get more... Base HP(by quite a bit, I might add) Speed(by quite a bit, I might add) Regenerative Capability(as far as shields are concerned) Stamina(not a huge deal, it admit, but still)
Guess what I just remembered? Roles! Assaults are better killers than Logis now. Stop ur bitching. |

You seem to actually get them, I admit. Caldari are the group fighters that love ewar. I have yet to see them 'bunker down' as you say, unless you're on eve online, where the damage modifiers are for low slots. Nonetheless, Caldari will always fight as a group, and part of that is intel. Actually the most important part is intel. Gallente are also especially slow, and generally need to be very close to do any damage, as such they don't 'cover'. They are the ones who push enemy forces out. They are the bulls of the game, and everyone knows that bulls stand steady. Not only that, but this progression lets the user defy armor repair staking penalty. Amarr bonus is one that i admittedly threw together on spot. However it has its uses. The amarr Assault is mant to be an objective pusher, an assault that can put out a massive ammount of dps without having to wait to do it again. With the stamina regen boost, they can get to cover, objectives, and just about anywhere else in the nick of time. Fizzer XCIV wrote:emm kay wrote: So let me break it down. Guess what I just remembered? Roles! Assaults are better killers than Logis now. Stop ur bitching. Contradictions. Anyway, my logistics m/1 fitting has more armor than my assault a/1. Both are fitted with same teir plates. Care to explain? An extra slot would, give a clear advantage, a defining role. Should the two fittings go toe to toe now, the logi would almost always win. (Scanners, nanohives, REs, etc) I have given up on the assault completely, and have made my logi suit my main slayer fitting. You do realize that all Assaults are getting more PG/CPU(a lot more), 150 more base HP, another module slot, and possibly a grenade fitting bonus in Hotfix Charlie. Right? The buff is already coming, so stop asking for it. Sheesh. |

That bonuses on the caldari assault are ridicolous thats why the assault is underpowered, we need 10% of hp, 5% to shield recharge delay, and 3% to damage of hybrid weapon per level. This makes the assault in line with other suits.
Jesus H. Christ, guys. THE ASSAULT SUIT IS GETTING A MASSIVE BUFF! DO I NEED TO SLAP A CRAYON DRAWN MESSAGE ON YOUR FACE WITH MASKING TAPE? STOP ASKING FOR SOMETHING YOU ARE ALREADY GETTING...
The assault suits are going to be more than fine in Charlie. Experience tells me they will actually be really goddamn OP. |

There will not be any bonuses except grenades so i don't think they will be op, so stop crying with you ****** scout. I'm not a scout, scrub. I'm a Bittervet. I've got Proficiency V Bitter Rifle and a Prototype Veteran Suit. All the highs are skill extenders, and all the lows are experience plates. |
