I read sometime ago that Rattati would like some new ideas of vehicles but without the need for a client update, I've got a good one!
An LAV that can go around driving under tanks and other vehicles. Basically able to scoop up and (depending on the speed the vehicle is going and weight of vehicle) throw the other players vehicle up in the air.
- This LAV is very VERY flimsy, able to be one shot by a militia rail and not stand up long to blasters.
- This is an ultra light LAV and thus no heaves can use it.
- Remotes don't stick to it.
- Suffers no collision damage of course, but must have its collision lowered so it can actually go under stuff. (if thats how it works?)
- Also bright as ****, you'll know it when you see it.
Not only would this be absolutely freaking hilarious, but well.. need i say more?!

((For those of you who don't know, SLAVs refer to Scout LAVs. They were blue, very fast, and had quick turret rotation speeds, but were extremely weak and only had a 1/1 layout .
The Caldari one was named Callisto, while the Gallente one was Abron)).

Sure! That fits well into my idea! Would that mean the model is already there? (if it is a different model)

Stupid idea...... the last thing I, as a tanker want to see, is more defying of physics as not only will tanks roll over one another but now LAV will cause us to do more somersaults than an Olympic gymnast.

Exactly! 
It needs some testing first but i do believe its a sound idea.

Well I don't think "throwing them up into the air" is really a good idea simply because it doesnt make sense and adds nothing to the game other than being annoying. A flipping mechanic, maybe? But that depends on how vehicle handle being flipped. LAVs are not really an issue but last time I flipped an HAV it glitched out and started spinning like a top until it blew up from collision damage and there was no way to fix it. |
