I'm liking Minmatar assault a lot, its really just a after of preference. If you prefer speed and armor damage, go with Minmatar assault + CR. Which one's better? Both are equal. The amarr does have a slight advantage because it DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A PILE OF GARBAGE. Other than that its all about preference. AMARR ASSAULT: will have 3 high slots , 5 low slots. A bonus that affects Laser weaponry. The capacity to UBER tank all the way up to HEAVY level. Has a **** ton of Stamina and looks l337 as hell. Also has the most CPU-PG of all suits. Cons: The Slowest of them all. Unlike Gallentes, they are armor tankers WITHOUT Natural armor repair. At Proto Level you loose the cool pimp looking gold colours and get to be all black that makes us look like emo Decepticons. TINMATAR ASSAULT: Will have 4 H and 4 L slots so its pretty balanced. With this slot layout any amount of fits can be made. a Stealth fit ,a shield tanker, an armor tanker a speed tanker etc.... The Min Assault is by far one of the most versatile suits out there. IF you can manage the less than avarege CPU-PG. Besides this its the FASTEST suit ( for an assault it runs at Scout speed). Has a bonus tthat helps CR, the best Rifle at the moment. Has GREAT stamina Regen. Cons: You have ZERO level of intimidation. Shield regen is a little poor so it might need some help from modules if you want to shield tank. Armor tanking it would take away its speed. It looks fugly. The best Damage mod is a HEADSHOT....

Of course you can just fit them however you want. Personally I think you have no chance either way because you asked that question even though there's stats that tell you anyway.
