The title of this thread is pretty confusing but what I mean is I reached a point within skilll progression that lvlving any further is pointless. The only vehcile upgrades that i havent maxed are armor composition thats lvl 3, damage amps lvl 3, engineering and electronics. Engineering and electronics being the most useless skills to level up. Turret wise its the same thing I have all proto larger turrets i have the proficiency the fitting otimization I maxed out my small blaster turrets and my advanced missile and railgun turrets are very effect at the lvls they currently are. My Gunnlogi can fit pretty much anything if i pushed my small turrets to maybe optimization 2 for rails and missles my maddy would be just as good. Sp investment and isk reward wise I dont think it was worth it. Also the fun factor its non existant there aren't enough tankers in the game and tank support as far as inside the tank is terrible. Maybe if there were more incentive for players to gun inside vechicles then id be slightly satisfied. Until thing I'm just lvling skills that dont mean a damn thing especially in PC. |

I stopped skilling into tanks months ago because the skills were so pointless....

Agreed! but I am stubborn scrub and insist on doing everything the hard way (one swarm volley at a time)
(I actually don't think tanks are OP---just fun to make go boom)

I felt the exact same, For awhile I refused to spend any SP on infantry, until I realized there wasnt much more to skill into regarding vehicles, and the only vehicles I enjoy are the ADS and the Saga II. Now I am slowly building an Amarr Assault on my vehicle alt, because I dont have any Amarr suits on any characters anymore and I feel like it would be a good suit to start with as I dont want another Heavy or Logi, and I have Amarr scout at 5 already.

not asking for a congratulations and yesi had the skills maxed after and before the respec. It's just that taking your skills even further maxing all small turrets maxing all large turrets is pointless. |

Noone more care about tanks. If theres one, scrub with AFG will sit at high tower/building.
Maybe after blaster accuracy improvments, blueberrys/older players will bring more tank to the field.

Closed Beta Vet and gave up on assault back to Heavy full time. Remove cloaks balance scouts.

You are bad if you think tanks are pointless. Tanks are huge zoning tools. Can av kill you? Yes, and a melee strike can kill my av. Can a melee strike kill your tank? No. Can 90% of the weapons in this game even damage your tank? No.

Eh....... I certainly hope tanks aren't working as intended because most of the time they are pointless and boring to use. Zoning or otherwise. I could care less about infantry. Where are my powerful feeling battle cannon? Where are the coaxial machine guns? Where is the EWAR to distrupt me? Why does AV that hits me feel so weak but do so much damage?

I find tanking pretty depressing at the moment the blaster accuracy loss was the final blow. The number one anti available weapon made as deadly as a fart. Especially if u add on the extra resistance sentinels get from blaster damage. |
