I'm not sure if this belongs here...
Today was the second day I've been on pshome, and I went to go visit the Dust 514 space. It's so bland. There's very little to do, and not much in showing you how cool Dust is. For someone who happens to be visiting casually, there's nothing that screams "must-play."
And Slay (or Slayer, can't remember what it is called)? The hardest game I've ever had the misfortune of trying out. OMG, it took me forever to figure out how to play, and then just when I was getting better, in one move I've got these weird mech things splitting my territory in half.
But that's not what this post is about. I noticed 2 things while in PSHome (not bad for a noob).
1) Many people there will do just about anything for new clothes and suits etc. Why do you not have a store where you can buy Dust clothes and dropsuits? Or even better, why don't you offer clothing items for people who actually try Dust, instead of Slay (which is practically impossible). It might be enough to get the PShome crowd to join.
and 2) vanity items sell!! My second day and I've already spent 12 dollars. That's like infinity times more than I've spent on Dust (even though I want to support Dust). Dropsuits should have had, from the beginning, an extra module slot where you could equip color schemes. These color scheme modules should be blueprints and purchasable through Aurum only or with some as rewards for being in special events.
I know that there are tons of people willing to spend real money, just for looks, even though it doesn't add anything to the gameplay (and it won't harm the in-game economy). |

Slayer was an awesome game. It took me about 30 mins to learn how to play and over an hour to win my first game. It was my best experience on PS home. I think I discovered it because home was offering something free if you win it.

well, I'm really loving Pottermore (I'm such a nerd (T-T ))
But i did win a little Gallente drone companion. it doesn't talk much but it' looks awesome. Also, if you win a game of Slay you win a dropsuit (I saw two guys with Caldari Mediums). But considering how popular costumes are in pshome, I think it would help CCP more if a person didn't get their costume until they tried out Dust. |
