Why is it that the Amarr Logistics has a sidearm, in turn performing the role of the Assault suit; while the Assaults don't have multiple equipment slots, allowing it to perform the role of the Logistics?
It's a double standard.

I have been searching for answers to this as well and the only response I got was "The Amarr logistics is a combat logi " I rarely see any amarr logistic players that rub around reviving, repairing and such only dropping a few links and then the rest of the match they become a slayer logi.

So would you like to give the Amarr Assault a second equip slot?
Or Two Sidearm Slots
Or maybe a portable mat so they can bend down to pray to their god on the battlefield, it's not like the Minmatar can shoot an idle target anyway.

Ask anyone who actually runs the amarr assault with amarr weaponry, the logi isn't stealing their role at all. Amarr assaults are dead ****ing killy with their racial weaponry, in fact the amarr assault is one of the perfect examples of how to balance assaults as they outdamage commando's significantly (on everything except for ASCR, or SCR over same number of shots, but they get more shots out of SCR) though the commando gets the ability to pack around a secondary weapon like a swarm launcher, the logi gets more equipment but doesn't have anything near the level of damage the assault can do.
Point in case, during the third weekend of the officer event I killed five people in one beam with my assault suit and laser. No other suit could have done the same. |
