Looking for a dedicated English to Portuguese translator for work on a Portuguese translated version of the Dust 514 wiki (once it's been properly updated) and likely more content.

won't it be easier to look for people to actually update the dust 514 wiki before finding someone to translate.
That would be like if you were a video game company and started working on a second game before you even finish the first game...

edit: Myself and a couple others do some work translating updates for the corp. I was planning on doing a skilltree translation as a side project. Life happened. This week might be good to work on. |

Cool cool. Was actually looking to see if Necandi or Sadashi would be down for it, mind asking around the corp and what not? Would like to see if we can get it translated while the entire wiki is being updated, kill two birds with one stone.

Ill contact the necessary parties. I live in the U.S. so I might be doing most of the initial translations, other corp mates would definitely be available to help. In the meantime do you know if the in game text is available for download instead of relying on-game? Would it be possible to contact logibro for such a feat?

Naaah, I got ahold of Saberwing a while back about legitimate localization for Portuguese players but it's not something they can do at the moment. That being said, I'd rather just completely update and overhaul the wiki and then translate the entire thing so that Portuguese players at least have -some way- of reading what the game entails, rudimentary as it is.
What we -CAN- do however, is get the Wiki translated and then I can brain the CPM/Logibro until we get a community spotlight and a sticky, at least.
