You know what's gonna happen. You'll sign up to play it and at first it will be hinting at awesomeness and you'll get hooked and play it constantly and blah blah blah. And then CCP will start fixing things and that what once would have been hints of awesomeness with then become the reality of frustration fueled rage and aggravation.
It's kinda like that girl you met a few months back and she was just awesome...beautiful and smart and fun and the sex..? Cataclysmic. And then you start to figure out that she's crazy, and not in a good way. Suddenly she's moved in and she's stealing money from your wallet and your stuff is starting to disappear (because she's selling it) and you've begun to suspect that the only cataclysmic sex she's having is with your best friend and even with all that, you can't get rid of her and blah blah blah.
What is it about these people (CCP) don't you understand? They create something that could be, should be awesome and then meticulously set about ruining it and thereby making you so agro and frustrated that you will eventually grow to hate Project Legion because you so much wanted to love it but the creators and owners of it will do so many things that will only make you hate it.
Why put yourselves through that? |

Change isn't easy, for them or us, but personally I feel the game is the best it's ever been.
They could use their lessons learnt from Dust to make better improvements on Legion (if it ever sees the light of day..)

Already had that girlfriend. It was EVE Incarna. I smacked dat b*tch to da curb! CCP is a crazy girlfriend factory. Legion might be the fourth one after Incarna, DUST and WoD disapointments.

Yup... nuff said. I learned long enough to trusty my cradar and when an attractive girl flits into my life and I'm beginning to get hooked buy I'm also small blips of crazy on the radar, I run like hell and do not stop until the radar shows clear.
Project Legion...? Blip, blip, blip. There are plenty of other PvP options out there that don't and probably won't **** me off the way the progression of Dust has. |

I can't argue that because it's been at least a couple of months since I've played it. I started playing Dust right after the beta and I've quit several times out of frustration and after awhile, come back to try again. And every time I've come back, I last a few weeks or a month before the agro frustration swells again. The tank spam was the final straw. I've not paid much attention to this forum for awhile either but in just a brief scan of the threads, it seems that the game has been handed back to the heavies. It was the heavies who pretty much ruled this game when I started. What goes around comes around. Ironically, after the last respec I SPed into Ammar heavy proto because that fit with an Ishokone forge was the only infantry fit I could do to give me even the slightest chance against the tank spam. Not much of a chance tho. So why keep dropping my real money to buy Aurem for a proto Ammar heavy fit only to get routinely redlined by a militia tank with multiple times the RoF and damage, ridiculous speed and repair rate costing a fraction of my proto infantry fit? My proto Caldari assult fits? No matter how good you may be infantry vs infantry, you'll still get swatted like a fly by the cheapest, most basically fitted tank.
Naw... I've been burned by CCP before. No more chances. Dust's fate is now Destiny for me.
