Teaching newer players and increasing retention
This is mostly a thing of suggestions, some of this will be a thing of wet dreams, but it's worth a shot to put it out.
Skills and Skillbooks were something the devs are actively interested in getting into new player's hands, I'd see if either Ideally if they could bring back the Arbiter, Sentinel, Enforcer, Artificer Model, removing the artificer or replacing it with a 1 equipment suit that uses the race's special equipment. and skills would come pre-spent and a free suit would be given, Light, Medium, or Heavy with a to be determined, this encourages players to branch out and try roles and gives a good starting set of skills. Tutorials giving skillbooks as a reward is another alternative which may be more doable,The academy seems decent, but drop a tank in and it goes to hell and is one sided, same with an HMG heavy, Shotty Scout or ADS which all can be obtained/used by a new account, Getting people to interact would be good, if there could be a newb help channel that would be nice, as would a recruitment one, new players should be shown how chats and in game mails work. as getting people to interact gives then connections and therefore a reason to stay.

Battle acadamy needs to be extended to 1m SP so the newberrys can get drilled in how to play and some sp/isk/skills under their belts, and be warned at like 900k SP and every increasing increment toward the 1million goal that they will be leaving the kiddie pool and entering the Chummed shark tank.
and with that also an improved match making system for players with more then 1 million SP
perhaps have it take into account the players SP first then KDR / average WP gain
