600 extra HP is nice but still, 600hp is nothing when you land. You have to land very carefully to pick up team mates because even a little harsh landing can put you at a point where you only have 25% shields left, and a buff on a building can take away a lot aswell.
Shield vehicles take way too much collision damage. Too often have I been knocked into a building by swarms lightly and lost more shields than the swarms did damage!!
Please reduce collision damage. |

Or perhaps you should learn not to fly too close to buildings, and how to land properly.
And nothing of value was lost that day...

Reduce collision damage so ramming stops being a thing.

Pythons don't need any buffing but collision damage should be changed for them. It is crazy that they can absorb forge shots and be back to 100% in a few seconds but scrape a building and they go down in flames. I also don't like the ramming of ships, merely because it interferes with my fun.
Because, that's why.

Those things are like G-spots when you land them, you could land with the speed of a snail and the grace of a butterfly and still take over 800 damage, even sometimes be completely destroyed in certain areas (LZ's in Gal research facility, if you get too close to supply depots)
Hit detection when landing for the python is ridiculous, even more so when we're colliding with walls. I've had situations where I landed full force into a wall and only lost my shields, and other situations where I tap the side of a light pole and get decimated.
And out of curiosity, do you even fly pythons?

The collision damage is a problem with all shield dropships, it's just magnified on the python. I've flown all dropships extensively (well, I actually don't use the incubus much, but whatever) and can say that armour dropships are superior for transport. The only reason to choose a shield is for the module spots (I run my Myron with a Complex Hardened, Complex Shield, Basic mobile CRu, and Standard Scanner).

perhaps we could balance armor and shield by making their collision the same. |

don't forget even if you land like a snail sometimes the broken physics plunges you into the ground even if you didn't mean to and it's like walls and buildings is a magnet to dropships. |

Yes, though I prefer to use Railgun Incubi. Then you should actually know what I'm talking about if you've flown both of them, actively of course.
The incubus and its crash mechanics are ridiculously better then that of the python, I've slammed into walls with an incubus and had crash landings that should have killed me in that thing, yet I ran away like nothing happened. The same crap happens in a python, I get wrecked.

I run Incubi into buildings full speed with a booster on just for laughs when I bounce off
I don't fly under 50m with my python because, yeah I can bouce off buildings, but I won't be laughing when I do

Well as long as you don't make it to where you can easily survive harsh landings (like the OP suggests), then I have no issues with adjusting collision damage.

Are you implying that slamming into a wall shouldn't cause you to crash and die?

I say Pythons are where they need to be. I actively fly both Python and Incubi and I twice the crap with my Python then Incubi. If they add the same Mechanics to Incubi they better add a better bonus to it too. I can't **** up **** with my Small Ion Cannon

The way your post is formatted, it seems as if your complaining that Pythons can't survive head-on collisions, while the Incubus can; and that it should be able to.
It could just be me misinterpreting it though.

ship on ship ramming is legit play as it costs both parties a clone/loadout/ship and can be a self sacrificeing way to get a pesky dropship out of the sky as we all know how dominating they can be if you dont have anti vehical to drive them off or destroy them

If that were true then Id be ok with that, but the Mlt Armor dropship will not go down when it rams any shield based dropship. and if it does go down, the ADS is down 500k while the mlt dropship only lost about 20k.
