o7 forum warriors, inactive players, new players, and vets n trolls. I have recently watched Moody's video on Counters(*shock*, I know I'm late) well I was thinking how can we teach players how to counter stuff instead of crying "OP!!! NERF IT!!!". I know this won't come to DUST 514 but maybe to Legion. So here's the deal, everyday there is a random challenge that is optional to do, the idea is to counter a certain fitting or situation. By completing this challenge you are gifted 10 Aurum Versions of the fitting you used to counter. The environment is all PVE and there could be multiple enemies/teammates.
Here's an example: Hacker
Scenario: There is a point of intrense that is heavily guarded by installations, Sentinels, Logis and Assaults. Your main force is assaulting the main entrance but they are can't make any progress with out changing the odds to their favor.
Goal: Create a fitting to quickly hack and harass the enemy.
First Step: Choose to play scenario or choose to play the opposite scenario (play as defender).
Second Step: Create a fitting to play as.
Third Step: Execute with designed fitting.
Fourth Step: Accept the Fitting that you made into your inventory.

I would love to do this but i only have 30 loadout slots and CCP does not want to give me more.

yes i think there are many players that don't understand the way the game works witch can lead to calling something OP because its designed to kill the suit you run. now that i skilled into amarr assault the rail rifle feels OP against my suit but thats just the damage profile of the gun to kill armor suits and i know its not OP.

That true. But people here stick to 1suit and take it like its cod,bf.
If youre a heavy, you should know that shootgun and knives will take you down in seconds.
ScR and ACR takes scouts easly.
Ps. If youre assault, watch out for everything.
Everyone wants that +50.

Edit. They need lesson to use guns properly.
Dont run like crazy to shield tanked suits with CR,RR and cry. Also in other way, dont run with AR,ScR like crazy to kill armor tanked suits and call for armor nerf.
I always thought that there should be a 3-5 minute video in the skill books explaining and showing how the weapon/equipment works and is effective.

If CCP didn't market (lol) the game on 'play your way' then there'd be no problem.
People come into the game thinking 'wow, I'm not forced to use stuff I don't want to'.
Then they find out that actually, you have to counter stuff constantly so no, you cant play your way and good luck with that fit that you like.
Its all good if your a scout though.
Cloaks
Speed
Wall hacks
Hidden from radar
Ohk weapons
2 equipment slots
Quick regen
A lot of HP is you want
I run amarr scout as well.

Its the same with eve which I love so don't get me wrong and I love everything about it.
They market a real time galaxy to explore but its actually just selecting what instance part of space you want to go to and then clicking stuff.
I love eve, seriously, but I'm just stating the other side of the coin.
