Note: For the record, I believe this idea came from Ironwolf originally.
So Logis and Assaults both have a fitting reduction as their role bonuses, and now Assaults are also getting one for grenades, and Sentinels are getting a fitting bonus for heavy weapons. It's a smart design move, as you can use it to encourage players to fit suits within their intended role, without directly forcing them not to. So, why not give a fitting bonus to every suit and lower CPU/PG accordingly? And what I mean by that is give every suit a sort of third bonus that just gives them a bonus to fitting a particular item. So something like:
Sentinels: 5% reduction to CPU/PG usage of heavy weapons per level.
Commandos: 5% reduction to CPU/PG usage of light weapons per level.
Assaults: 5% reduction to CPU/PG usage of light/sidearm weapons and grenades per level. [As this is currently the Assault's role bonus, that would have to be changed to something else. Personally, since Assault suits are evidently intended to be pure slayers, I'd recommend giving them a direct damage bonus to all weapons. Here's a thread with some more ideas on that.]
Logistics: 5% reduction to CPU/PG usage of equipment per level. [Like with the Assault suit, this would also require changing the current Logistics role bonus to something else. I had the idea of potentially giving them back their old 1HP/S armor regen per level. It kinda makes sense to me that the "healers" of the game should be able to effectively heal themselves. Now I know lots of people hated the old Logi armor reps because it was part of what made them better overall slayers than Assaults. But currently, it would seem that Scouts are the main slayers of choice, and with Assaults getting more CPU/PG, more HP, and an extra module slot (so they're tied with Logis), I don't really see any problem with giving Logis this bonus.
Scouts: 5% reduction to CPU/PG usage of precision enhancers, range amplifiers, and profile dampeners per level.
So of course these are just ideas, open to debate. But overall I think the general idea would work well.

Not a bad idea, but I would think commandos would get more use from a bonus to ammo capacity with their respective racial weaponry. Commandos are supposed to be slighter tougher, more offensive assault suits with less versatility, right? Give them a higher ammo capacity and remove their equipment slot. Just my 0.02 ISK

These are already in / coming soon, aren't they?
Scouts: 5% reduction to CPU/PG usage of precision enhancers, range amplifiers, and profile dampeners per level.[/quote] I would MUCH rather see efficacy with those modules, as reduction to CPU/PG means it will be easier to fit other PRO modules (see: brick tanked scouts).

I'm just spit balling. If they received a bonus to racial weapon damage + a second bonus + 5% extra ammo capacity with their racial weapons they need something to balance them out. Maybe a reduction to eHP? I don't know, I don't even work here.

Assaults and Logis have their bonuses, so do scouts.
The sentinel will get one as well.
But I do agree that the commando should get a bonus as well. Maybe a 10 percent reduction to equipment usage and a 15 percent reduction to light weapons(max skills)

If killing people was a role, every suit type except logis are ******* slayers. Bit of an oversaturated role in that case, don't you think?
