 Yes this is annoying as hell... happens at least once a day, usually I'll just do something else when this happens... Not much reason to go back into the game if it keeps throwing you into matches that don't load.
 
 A good idea would be to stop putting people into matches that are clearly over anyway.

 You realize we're dealing with matchmaking based on a small number of players, right? Dead game and all that?
 
 It happens to all of us. Most of us scream "Oh, Come ON!!!!" at the TV, then restart our search for another game.

 Couldn't it be coded in such a way where if one MCC's armor or the overall clone count is less than 10% that match cannot accept new players? Would there be any negatives to setting up such a rule?

 I wonder, do you realize that we had better matchmaking when there was no matchmaking and we had a similar number of players? However getting put into a match that is over has nothing to do with the number of players; I'd rather get put into a match that hasn't started and wait for it to fill up than get put into a match that is over.

 I would prefer that too, but I still think most of the matchmaking problems are player count, not coding.
 Not that it couldn't be cleaned up to prevent this from happening, it's just probably not showing on the "Give-a-f#ck-O-meter" right now

 Not sure which is quicker, but I've found that sitting at the "mission failed" screen will eventually return you to the warbage, just like it does if you sit too long when looking at the results screen.

 Fails to return to merc quarters.

I believe OP is referring to when you're on the loading screen, and hear the voice saying that the match is over. So, you have to restart the game to keep playing, or sit on the loading screen forever, if you're into that.
