How much more dmg charged knives do? Is it by % or simply damage x2 or something?

You should be able to charge while running :(
Whats the point of having a knife if you don't have increased mobility and agility.
Instead of making the knife mechanics relevant they just buffed the damage too shotgun in your face damage.
They just had to give the users mobility in the weapon use. |

I believe it is % because you can half charge and do more damage than if you didn't.

150 dmg Zn's, 375-ish per charge slash. 200 Ishy's, 500 charge.

The number listed is per uncharged swipe, keep in mind that every Nova Knife attack does two swipes.
As for charging, I think it was 2x the damage though I could be wrong.

It's 2.50x per swipe so technically both swipes hiting when fully charged is 5.00 *200+ proficiency%+ (if min scout) dmg bonus%. And charging while sprinting is "off the table" so =(.
"One does not simply" run like a Raptor. Only Mk.0 Scouts will do that.

If you can "see" a scout sprinting at 10m/s, then that scout is a dead scout. In addition, I have a completely unscannable GalScout that sprints at 8.01m/s, has 560 eHP, and can one to two shot most suits in game.
A charge sprinting knife scout does not even compare to it. |

Nova knifes are high alpha kill you before you can defend yourself with the way you guys like it ;)
Instead of using mobility and agility and landing multiple hits with you having a chance to defend yourself.
Making it challenging and rewarding gameplay for everyone. No one wants to get knifed and everyone wants to knife someone.
If having a nova knife out increased your movement speed, even heavies would put them on and actually use them. Instead we have a niche weapon completely obsoleted by the limits imposed on it that make little sense |

Hehe most people don't realize Heavies start with a what 150 hp dmg melee? it will one hit a lot of lower end or light suits armor lol. The HMG animation makes it comical and worth doing aswell
I would like to see the nova knife damage benefit from that natural heavy melee damage as well as they do lack in mobility to start with.
Knife kills are worth seeing more of in DUST 514 period. If you die to a knife you know you could of prevented it.. and it motivates players to bridge gaps and stops the middle range stale mates in fire fights and retreat everytime mentality. |
