My new remote explosives record. Nine kils with one remote. Whats your record? It was in a quick bush.
My average kill count is going up, while my average death count is going down.
standard g1 scout, mlt shotgun, mlt smg, mlt sheild, 2 mlt damps, standard remotes.
Thats the fit i was in. 6k ISK. Cheap. Effective. Brutal. Fun.
So yeah what your record for record remote kills?

Impressive.
The indoor maps with stairwells certainly provided the choke points for making red berry pies. Actually it looks like popcorn with that many bodies flying around. 
My record is 7. Total that match 21. My kill graph looked like a wonky set of stairs which is something I don't normally see as I am AV scrub first, logi second (mostly I hope I broke even if the match went poorly).
And by the way, the blast radius is not 5 meters on the std remotes....it is some other number....say about half that.

It was one the research facility on the outside edge where the stairs are leading up to the objective.
There's only room for a few mercs, and I threw it down the stairs onto the wall next to the entire group of them trying to push their way through.
You should have seen the reaction when they saw me throw the remote. People started jumping, everyone was pushing each other trying to get out but it was no use.
The ragdoll made them all fall down to the bottom of the stairs just when a red dot walks into the stairwell.
He looks at me
I look at him
He looks at me, then turns around and runs away.
That was the first time I saw a smart red dot.

Oh, and i didnt get to see the explosion. I did a hit-and-run, saw a cluster, ran by throwing the remote after epic flanking,
(ok flanking, needs some work)
ran away zig-zaging, click, KABLAMO! I wasnt expecting to clob the feed and they saw me and wiped out ky sheild.

Got an 8 pack in an ambush awhile back, I dont even play with remotes but it was on Gal research and we were getting stymied, I popped into an all BPO fit with 2 sets of remotes in the equips, tossed a pack down the stairs near where the supply depot would be and let some reds chase me back up the stairs.

Well, to be honest i make more kills with my shotgun. The REs is for the much complained "heavy spam" . I wouldn't consider chosing to adapt and using equipment so survive over dying as wrong but...I'm just a scrub i suppose

Don't you mean you are in std gear rather than mlt? Is there even a mlt dampener? And if you are in mlt gear, why not go std on everything? The prices are quite similar right. You could fit something extra. |

Some may have picked it up to counter heavy spam but it's been used that way for a long time now by many. Hell I seen a guy use it in a PC match and did quite well with it.
