Given the new idea is to make some slot changes, I noticed the following problem:
Amarr are now more low-slot and thus armor focused.
Gallente are now more balanced with a bias for armor.
Problem: Sentinel Racial Bonuses contradict this:
Amarr: Primary Armor Projectile /// Secondary Shield Hybrid Rail
Gallente: Primary Armor Hybrid Rail /// Secondary Armor Projectile
The Ammar bonuses are primarily armor and secondary with the shields, yet the Gallente are both primary and secondary armor for bonuses.
Will HotFix Charlie change this so both Ammar bonuses are applied to armor, and the Gall bonus for projectiles changed to the shields? With the current system the bonuses match the slot configurations like the rest of the sentinels, but if HotFiX Charlie goes through these two Sentinels no longer have the synergy that the other two have, and break pattern.

The Minmatar are really the only true brick tankers who can choose between armor or shields but are primary shield. With that in mind shouldn't it be Primary and Secondary to Armor for Amarr, Primary and secondary to shield Caldari, Primary and secondary to armor Gallente, Primary to shield secondary to armor Minmatar?

I dunno about that...have you seen the Amarrian Psycho DPS fits?
Additionally lets consider the damage types that are mainly done by the factionalised weapons
Amarr- Primary EM, Secondary Thermal
Gallente- Primary Thermal, Secondary Kinetic
Caldari- Primary Kinetic, Secondary Explosive (I think)
Minmatar- Primary Explosive, Secondary Kinetic

I think he was thinking EVE since explosive and kinetic are separate damage types. Projectile weapons deal both while hybrid weapons deal about half kinetic and half thermal.
So I guess taking this to Dust, we'd have Amarr with bonuses against projectile weapons (primary) and hybrid-rail (secondary).

Yeah and that really doesn't make sense but...what evs I suppose....lets just diverge entirely from the successful half of this franchise......
