That if youre sitting with your thale... everyone highlights on your scope. No matter who it is, if he uses cloak. Everyone just highlights, throught buildings etc.
They dont have to search, its like thay have build in scope scanner.

So let me get this, they have increased zoom compared to other snipers and they have a built in scope scanner?
And they still suck at sniping as bad as they do!? HAHAHAAA

That's Render Issues it occurs with all scopes its just more obvious with the Thale since it's a higher magnification. What I want to know is why I can have a 170% headshot reading on a redline sniper whose hiding behind the crest of the hill and my shots dig into the hill meanwhile he keeps pinging me with his shots. This has been around forever and was never fixed and this is why I hate Redline Snipers. The "Vet" (If you can call them that) redline snipers abuse this fact anytime you attempt to counter snipe them. You have to reach a 45 degree angle above them to counteract this but this is easier said then done on maps that are built like craters, aka all the maps. "Head Glitching" as its aptly named is the reason redline sniping is really bull. It's just also hush hush since most snipers use it. |

my ishukone sniper rifle does this
i use the sniper rifle to spot more than i use it to kill
not just the thales
but i run a complex precision mod and a complex range mod and can see everyone on the field
and yes through buildings and everything

It's called LOS scanning and it's not really a broken mechanic anymore....however I have yet to scan a cloaked scout with my sniper is it just Thale's?

Must be a range issue. Was playing Manus Peak earlier today and was defending A with my Thale's (about 200-250 meters from the node) and only noticed cloaked scouts by their shimmer. Definitely didn't highlight for me.

Well, i used few thales on my alt and cloaked scouts just shown up running throught my scope.

Basic cloaks no longer give dampening. Could be the snipers precision beats the scouts profile. I noticed a big difference in who got a chevron and who did when I took suit precision from 0 to 5.
Rattati has spoken. CalScout hitbox is fine. You're gun game is broken.
