So i was raging about cal precision being taken. Im still at that opinion, but just saw new numbers. And i can tell you one (CCP,community) :
Caldari will be left with few fits (im talking about modules). Now you will see tanked caldaris like you never before.
*One damp so galogi wont scan (focused is a meh, i dont count it) you (2 for amarr if needed) + 1 amp/kincat (scrubs will put armor here) *And for high slots... what can you fit? Shield extenders, only. With 1 enchancer you'll only scan scouts without damp. 2 to scan minmatar and amarr with 1damp no cloak. So yeah there will be 450shield caldaris left.
Good to know that they give us 15% damp bonus. It helps much actualy. I hope that they wont qq about that (hp) after charlie ;]. See you around mercs.
PS. If they will transfer codebreakers to high slot, ill put them on my every cal scout suit. And im not happy about that (stacking shield cal), just sayin how its gonna be.

This really blows. Some class needs enough precision to see scouts be it assaults or logistics or whatever. I know scouts countering themselves was bad balance but now they have no counters whatsoever. They have too much to not have a solid counter and all this balancing is just making scouts even with each other and out of reach for other classes. |

Some don't like the gallente suits and shouldn't be punished for not using it. |

so i need to use a proto scanner (focused scanner) in order to scan for scouts

Well that is kinda what your meant to do. Tank in the highs support in the lows.
Most people will probably fit 1 prescsion enhancer in an attempt to relieve the suits perma scan days, probably the odd codebreaker as well.
The problem was never 430 shield caldaris, it 430 shields and 300 armour caldaris that were a problem. As the modules are getting rebalanced soon (Rattatis intention is make tank modules the highest costing) we will see less than 400 EHP scout suits, like we would expect.

You're absolutely right. I'm sad that I won't be able to counter FotM scrub scouts nowGǪ
Though I was considering using an energizer or recharger in the highs along with extenders. that 60-85 reps/sec tho. :) |

Bullets I find to be a pretty decent counter to Ewar as well. Scout Ewar with the exception of a few scenarios is mostly a "How to humiliate your enemy or humiliate yourself" situation. When you are fighting a bad team you can run rampant across their non existent battle line shotgunning, knifing, and rifling to your hearts content. When you are on the bad team you are a gnat that will get repeatedly swatted. It's mostly a class for Skirmish mode holding an objective alone from a few enemy players (1-4). They excel best at that. Everything else is kinda meh as ambush and Domination are about point defense or the lack of one. |
